Former military here, and once you hear from more troops about their "experiences" over in the Middle East AOR, and what they had truly seen over there for those that used FLIR (newest night vision)...then you will hear more and more stories about what is truly happening in our night skies ;-)

Thing is I am now out as I got out last year, as more and more leave the service, you will begin to hear more about them. For those that wish to come forward and share that is.

I did read your full post and it boiled down to the argument from personal incredulity. You don't believe the government would divulge these secrets to this man therefore it didn't happen. There is no evidence in your argument, nothing in it to back up the claim:

The man is either lying, insane, confused or some combination of each

Those are possible explanations but not the only ones. However, you don't allow for any alternative explanations in your statement. Hence my 'la la not listening' comment. You've made up your mind in a very concrete fashion based on very little.

Great post OP....Lets hope the ball keeps rolling and we have full disclosure and eventually actual open dialogue with our galactic neighbors.
I think they'll be a plethora of abduction and sighting stories as soon as the stigma attached to the UFO and ET phenomena is blown out of the park.
I can see a whole lot of new Close Encounteresc movies incoming!!

I think the effect of disclosure on a population will be proportional to what extent people think it will affect, and actualy does affect them. Some one in a third world country living on a dollar a day is more likely to think "big deal", then some one in a more prosperous country. In a country with 24/7 news on viagra, for more then a few, imaginations are going to go wild. But the last thing to do is cut off the information, and announce "theres nothing to worry about". Thats the universal phrase for "feel free to panic". If nothing blows up, and your partner doesn't turn into one of the pod people, thats a good start. And at the same time, things we never think about, have to work with out us noticing that they do. If your credit card still works and there's gas at the pump, food at the store, and the cops are still writing traffic tickets, that keeps fear at a managable level. I don't think the government will have as much control over this then we might think, as I don't feel they ever did. How ever it unfolds, government's world wide will try to look busy.

As the initial shock cools down a bit, the people who will grow increasingly worried will be those at the summit of power and wealth. People and institutions that maintain control may worry, with good reason, that the shell game's and illusions that control societies, and those who support them may be exposed. How they react is a lot harder to predict.

Interesting, this is the first thing that came to mind when I came across this thread the only briefing document I knew about was the Majic one that is why I posted it earlier.

I could not think of a reason why Mr Mcelroy would want to give weight to such a document at this time after all they have been around now for many years so why not come forward then,

Of course it does not mean he isn't sincere but his timing could have been better and all it leaves us with again is anecdotal evidence it seems to me the impact of this story can only be brought to bear by an authenticated briefing document but I will not hold my breath.

Stopped reading here. This is pure trolling on your part, it has to be. You're comparing Phil Schneider to an elected official who worked with sensitive material within the government? You are simply a hater.

Within every myth or legend, there is an original seed which then goes on to germinate in to a flower which looks much different than the meager seed it sprang from. However small and clouded the extra terrestrial truth is that exists in the dark underbelly of United States intelligence/military complex, it is almost assuredly there.

Unless the MJ-12 ruse is again related to a tangible event that played out during the Eisenhower presidency. How ironic it is for those of you who claim knowledge of the authenticity of the Majestic Twelve documents to be calling out McElroy for perpetuating a lie.

Simply stunning how humans can turn everything, including healthy skepticism, into zealous dogma.

Given that I really know nothing about any of these people I'd appreciate if you could spell out why you've reached that conclusion. My arguments thus far have been advising against making judgements without evidence but it sounds like you may have found something?

I think he is coming forward to inspire others to do the same. I also think that we are at the time in our planets history where we desperately need 'outside' help.

We have reached the limit of our resources, we have too many people suffering for no reason whatsover and there are those right now as we speak who are dying of diseases that could easily be eradictated. AS you get older, you really start to see stuff like this and you realize that we haven't reached our potential yet and we might need some help because we have been too bogged down by War's and Greed.

I think the man is honest. I can't prove it, but I believe it to be the case.

I understand that you are saying the video will be manipulated by people like Schneider; but your post is still void of any real meaning because, unlike second hand accounts with no verifiable source, you have a video of an elected official who worked with sensitive material giving video testimony. How this has the propensity to turn into an "Aliens likes eatin' rectums and I know cause this guy told me" situation is escaping me.

You are letting your personal convictions get in the way of how monumental it is when a public figure, especially one whose legacy could be severely impacted by his choice to come forward, gives testimony to this end. But, it seems like your mind is closed and I'm not the person to try and open it. Cheers.

I remember reading somethings awhile back about a meeting that may have taken place between Eisenhower and some "Visitors" at sometime during his presidency. I don't recall offhand where I read this but I am gonna say it was in Alien Agenda by Jim Marrs. I could be wrong about the book but I do know its one of them in my library. I hope this man is being truthful about seeing this brief and we do indeed get disclosure soon as other countries have already released their records. With all the problems going on in this world I feel disclosure and the "visitors" actually making themselves known would bring about a new age of enlightenment and understanding. We as humans are destroying ourselves and I hope these "visitors" can help us fix our problems. All signs are pointing to new information about life existing elsewhere and perhaps this life has visited us before and continue to visit us. I believe "they" are observing and monitoring us to see if we can fix this world by ourselves and if we are in deed worthy of receiving their knowledge. I fear they may decide to leave us be and let us continue destroying our planet if things don't change soon.

It's been a while since I took a quick peek through it , but if I am not mistaken , in Bill Coopers's "Behold the Pale Horse", he outlines the "plot". The 2nd to last stage is "terrorism/terrorists". The Final Stage, is a fake alien attack to finally achieve the NWO. I wouldn't be so welcome to "disclosure" coming soon. I sense that it means the beginning of the end, if you know what I mean. If disclosure is on the horizon soon , it surely isn't going to be the aliens I am fearful of.
