Its interesting to say the least. I got the impression from that site that they are pretty serious about it, too. I don't know how many people they'll get to sign up a $20K a suite, but I'd love to hear the results of the voyage.

An elaborate plot to harvest organs maybe? Or perhaps white slavery. 20k up front per person then whatever the whole or parts are sold for. Sounds like a good time either way.

Sign me up! Hooah!

Seriously, if the earth were hollow, wouldnt it implode due to the increase in pressure, the further down you go?

Nah. It's a way for someone to suck $20K out of folks for an arctic cruise. And it's kind of sad, but if you put together a tour of famous places where George Washington's Ghost slept, there would be people that would sign up for that. Good marketing can sell just about anything.

..or could be both - true and bogus. Maybe someone has a dream. They might try, but even IF it were true, any way there would be blocked off.

Total con job, notice the disclaimer on that site...

"*Please note that if we are unable to find the Polar opening, we will be returning via the New Siberian Islands to visit skeleton remains of exotic animals thought to originate from Inner Earth. "

Can get a Trans-Siberian rail pass ($750 USD) for much cheaper if you want to see Russia, rather than being lead around by a fraudster.

After reading through this guys site and assorted other links, I think his 'plan' is legit as he does beem to believe in the Hollow Earth Theory..

Actually a lot of his 'proof' seems worth a closer look. We have only drilled down 12KM and the rest of the solid Earth theory is based on seismic waves and other superficial information.

He has a 'model' that seems to work with the available evidence.

Never say never.

consider me closed minded, but out of all of the conspiracy theories and far-out ideas the hollow earth has to be the one that id say is the least likely to be true. theres been plenty of exploration at the poles and they have not uncovered any openings into the hollow earth. if you think all of the scientists are misleading you, and you want to go there, you can, no ones stopping you. if there really was a hollow earth entrance at the pole, wouldnt the government be managing the site? if there really was a hollow earth wouldnt it be based on some huge problem with our science of physics that we would know about? if there were a hollow earth wouldnt other planets and/or moons have visible holes in their poles or is only earth hollow? if there was something worthwhile inside a hollow earth dont you think that we as the human race would have exploited it by now?

I don't know this seems kind of sketchy, what I love is that if they don't find the opening then you'll get to see the skeletal remains of creatures from the "Hollow Earth". Skeletal remains I bet one can see at the local Natural History Musuem, probably mastadon. I'd love to hear from someone who goes.

So they actually plan on going into the earth?

I'm confused...the Earth is solid.

I'm not saying the Earth aint hollow. I'm saying that this expedition isn't going inside of it. I've heard all sorts of theories... one being that planets are formed around small stars (from nebula) and are suspended by centrifugal force vs gravity. I don't necessarily believe it, but thats beside the point anyway as far as this link is concerned.

Notice how much they seem to "know" about the inner Earth (like the demeanor of the people and the location of the lost garden of Eden), yet they can't promise they'll find the opening?

If you REALLY want to go, all you need is a strong guts and plenty of vodka (and many thousands of dollars... just like for this trip, but at least you wont be getting ripped off by anyone but yourself).
Go charter yourself a suitable airplane and a pilot who's never ootten anyone killed before, keep him out of your vodka, and keep yourself zonked out beyond the ability to fear as you fly to an icy grave.
If you don't expect to die before getting to middle Earth though, you should take a gun just in case the people of inner earth are hostile. This way, if the world doesn't make natural selection work, we can always hope you'll get drunk enough to kill yourself instead.
