You are obviously a government shill.

Go ahead and send your goons over to kick in my door and do a head count of all that reside within. With a bounty of $1,700 per resident per year at stake perhaps the state or local government will step up to the plate?

While your at it why don't you quit harboring the millions of foriegn nationals that are in the country illegally.

Don't you know where they live or how many there are?

That's the most absurd thing I've read today.

Congress only represents themselves and the kiss ass corporate leeches that suck up and down to them.

It's to figure out how many people that government has available to tax.

Start counting the illegal aliens. The United States government is harboring millions of illegal citizens of other countires within it's borders.

Are they counted in the census?

[edit on 8-5-2010 by In nothing we trust]

Actually, the census was part of the constitution since day one, long before there were any taxes. If you read the Constitution, you'd know that we have a bicameral legislature and the house of representatives is based on population. States lose or gain representatives based on their population. That's why the Constitution has a census provision.

At the time of this Country was founded and far into the 1800s there were no illegal aliens. In fact, non-citizens were permitted to vote in all but the national elections. People didn't care because Fox News hadn't been invented yet.

So we shouldn't care if there are illegal aliens in the country?

Fuc* it why have a country at all if everyone can just walk in and set up shop?

Obviously the constitution is just an outdated document that no one gives a crap about.

And that is it exactly, it even says in the Constitution that Congress has to count noses so to say, so that each State can have the correct amount in their House of Representatives.

You know they are probably counting illegal aliens in thier census. They just go by postal delivery address yes?

They should just be counting citizens and they are not.

I realize that this could be the case, and I realize that the original intent of the census could have changed.

But what really gets me, is the amount of people who simply do not even know why we even had a census in a first place.

I have had many people tell me its so scientists can track population, etc.

A government shill ??? What a laugh. And I don't have any troops to send
to your house and kick in the door. What a laugh !!

All I meant was to just sign the freaking piece of paper and quit being a
whiney, immature jerkof$. You sound like an even tinier piece of dog doo
that snubs his nose at everything with no respect for anything but his
next beer and blackeye for the wife.

I am not an employee or member of the corporation in any fashion so I do not participate. There has not been a lawful constitutional census on the republic since at least 1935.

There was no census in 2000 just because one person can't remember it? What are the odds of remembering something which, compared to life overall, is not time-consuming and happened over ten years ago, unless there was something to make it memorable?

While I do not remember the mailer form, I do remember the census agents who showed up at people's doors at the worst possible times and were demanding and rude, insisting people stop what they were doing, regardless of how pressing, to give them time to ask "just a few questions". The reason I remember my personal experience with them in 2000 is because it began as annoying, yet quickly turned amusing.

As for a conspiracy connected with the census, I would not feel comfortable putting forth an opinion until I have researched the matter more thoroughly, but I can say there was a census in 2000.

Here, let me help:

United States Code

Was there a census in 2000? Yes there was. Were you counted? Yes you were. You get counted, even if you think not sending in the form, or answering the door will get you around it. Does that help answer your question? Oh, one more thing, you will not have the Fed hauling you to jail for not filling out the whole form.

So we don't actually live in a country anymore do we. The United States as a country no longer exists.

The United States was disolved as an idea and replaced with a legal entity called the "United States".

And this took place in 1935?

How do I know that, I never recived a confirmation. In fact no one received a confirmation of being counted have they?

They could just have made up the data like all other government statistics. How would we know the difference?

How about not filling out any part of the form?

If you want to count me and mine bring a warrant next time.

You will not seize my personal information without my consent.

Bill of Rights

Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The only data they fall back on, is in your local court house, from the last Census poll for your district. If you don`t believe me, go check it for yourself. As for confirmation? From the first Census on, the first being back in the 1800`s, they have never sent anyone a confirmation. And now your worried about it for what reason? You don`t seem to want to be counted anyway. So if your district is under funded, than thank yourself for it.

How about not filling out any part of the form?

You can add also, if you don`t answer the door, that is where my daughter steps in. She will get the info at the court house. As for who could go to jail? Anyone who threatens a Census taker with a weapon of any kind.

You, are a citizen, correct? You are not a sovereign individual or country.

You think you own property, but, if you don't pay your taxes, you lose it, even if your mortgage is paid.

You use roads to drive your vehicle on, you use all sorts of public facilities, if you think about it.

What you might get, with your stance, is a warrant, or a visit from the police, by just the way you talk, here.

Stay in your hole, don't use public roads, libraries, schools, sewer systems, water, or any of the like.

Quit being so bombastic, you're part of the hive, whether you like it or not!

Really I could go to jail for refusing the census or posting my views on this website?

You are more of a disinfo person then anything else. As I said, for the last time...........YOU WON`T GO TO JAIL. Pull a gun or any weapon on a Census taker, and you will see the inside of a jail. That is why my daughter carries a 45, because of those idiots.

So the government is going to send someone to come onto my property with a loaded weapon and demand information from me?
