I just wanted to ask a question, and I am not trying to be a jerk, but do you know why we have a census??

I was young at the time so I never heard about the 2000 census. It doesn't mean that it didn't happen but everything I've ever heard about it is what I've been told.
The only legitimate reason I see for the census that has made a difference is the number of representatives per state.

And that is it exactly, it even says in the Constitution that Congress has to count noses so to say, so that each State can have the correct amount in their House of Representatives.

Each person not counted represents approximately $1700 per year for the next ten years that your community won't be getting.
If you don't want the census to know you exist, instead of refusing to be counted, just use a fake name. Census workers don't ask for ID, they'll write down whatever you say.

Just remember that, you do not have to fill out all of the information on the census. Some questions on the census are completely voluntary and have absolutely nothing to do with appointing the correct amount of representatives.
The actual Enumeration [of a State's citizen residents] shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
