I am curious who died and left you to say the final word about anything those people who risked their lives in space exploration said or did?

I will never understand as long as I live why this particular subject brings out people who totally refuse to believe even when faced with testimony from sources like the astronauts. Interesting thing is those are the very people that when ET finally lands will go bonkers, jump out of windows and off bridges. The rest of us will just say "about time" and go on about our lives.

If you go to any retirement home you will hear all kinds of stories. That doesnt make them true. one time I had a guy tell me that the government took his children and put them on the moon. These rantings by the elderly dont make them true, I think its a shame that other people are capitalizing on the mutterings of these older people who should be left alone and forgotten about instead of exploited.

ive seen and i know but i feel crazy trying to explain my story i even made a thread to help deal with what i saw many years ago,

we are not alone and if anything we are surrounded at all sides by other life. however we may never meet or understand this life that visits and is so curious. reminds me of humans exploring just to discover perhaps they are not much diffrent then us..

Back on topic - it always amazes me that when someone reaches some level of accomplishment or has some degree of intelligence that is above the norm that this makes any statement they utter to be unimpeachable and that any observation that they make is also infallible. Just because someone is an astronaut does not make them automatically incapable of misinterpreting something or outright lying.

There have been very many US Presidents (current and last included) who have literally reached the most powerful position on the planet. Does that make them incapable of lying too? Certainly they are just as "important" as astronauts, no?

I myself have seen a "UFO" that behaved in ways that, to my knowledge, human craft cannot behave. That doesn't mean that this sighting of mine was "extraterrestrial". Most likely it was some human ship or Earthly phenomonon (Occam's Razor people).

Bottom line is that no matter how intelligent or important someone is, their words are still hearsay.

i think they all believe in the Extraterrestrial presence! thats why they are in this particular profession. but they are under strict orders not to discuss what they have learned.

I don't know who has or has not seen Secret Space but I believe it is pertinent to this discussion. This documentary is my favorite on the subject and has the best space footage available, imo. Don't let the ominous music and Nasa/Nazi conspiracy turn you off(albeit very interesting), but the space footage is what really has me scratching my head! The so called "Fireflies" described by the Astronauts are evident throughout this piece.
What do you guys think?

When you guys say these stories are 'verified', does that mean "I've read it all over the Internet', or do you want us to think it means, 'the quotation has been checked with the claimed speaker and he verifies it." ??

I refer to the claimed Carpenter, Chatelain, Irwin, and Cernan alleged quotations specifically. How does a balanced, curious person check them out to separate bogus from bonus?

Another thing to add to my above - these people have piloted ships into space to do experiments. That doesn't mean that they are experts in extraterrestrials. It merely means that they have the ability to pilot ships into space and conduct experiments. I have both piloted and been a passenger on many boats and ships in the Pacific Ocean. That doesn't automatically make me an expert at marine biology. that just means I can take a boat out on the ocean and get it back in one piece.

hmmm... according to your logic we shouldn't believe a word of Buzz Aldrin's explanation for the UFO that followed the Apollo 11 spacecraft during the TLC because he is senile and making up stories ?

Two sided logic here. The opposite could also be true here. Now that they don't have strings attached to and don't depend on NASA and are near the end of their lives they would have less fear from suffering a retaliation of some kind or think they (NASA, etc) would bother about taking any action against them.

3. they all crave attention and use books and video to get more attention proving that nothing they say can be taken seriously and is more like some form of lucid dreaming.

This doesn't mean much to me. They've accomplished something, they've been into space, they are not simple lunatics so it's at least a 50/50 situation here.

Specially since we all know that in any military environment (or any environment that uses a need to know basis policy) no one really hold all the pieces of the puzzle.

Cooper saw a fleet of ufo's flying at altitudes unreachable by conventional aircraft and filmed a ufo landing at Edwards air force base.

well people must understand something . There is a truth . What does the feeling tell you? Is the world leaders of this world trustworthy ? After all the stuff that has went down over the last 200 years. What does your mind tell you and what do you know ? do you think that everyone who talks about ETs can not be proven with out the trust of the world leaders saying its real ? You're write, perhaps they weren't ordered to lie. But they did lied because they had a NDA signed with NASA and any disclosure would mean hell on earth for them and their families.

It's hard to know. In my case I don't need any astronaut or authority to tell me Aliens exist, I've seen them with my bare eyes. So nothing will change my mind.

Many of these astronauts are old and their memories are false. Their typical glory hounds who only want attention once their out of the programs. Many feel they should not have been discharged from the programs and harbor ill will towards their employers for a bad day they had once.
