has anyone ever asked where Obama was born and has he ever answered the question? Has he just answered Hawaii or a city?

Interesting question......
After thinking about it myself, I have had people ask me where I was born many times in the past. My first response is always the city, I don't recall ever stating just the province alone (I am canadian).
That is a flat out lie. The news release does not say he was born at that or any hospital, it simply says that Hawaii has his birth certificate on record.
More than a year and half after Barack Obama was elected commander in chief, the governor of Hawaii is now publicly voicing the alleged exact location of Obama's birth, saying "the president was, in fact, born at Kapi'olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii."

Did you even read the source article? The first paragraph says this:
More than a year and half after Barack Obama was elected commander in chief, the governor of Hawaii is now publicly voicing the alleged exact location of Obama's birth, saying "the president was, in fact, born at Kapi'olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii."
It clearly states the hospital in the opening paragraph!
