OMG--Is it happening

I live out in the woods,I have solar panels for power and cannot run a TV or AC.
If the world were to go crazier than it is,and some big event were to occur,like rioting,people being rounded up and so on.....

I wouldn't even know about it,and that's the point.

I don't need to know about it,the whole thing is someone else's idea of a game,a sick joke,a trick,lies....

I see a lot of people who suffer from " information overload",getting panicky about everything they see on the tube and computer.

Nothing goes on in the world that hasn't been going on forever.

The only thing that changes is technology,and it is usually used to do things that are less "good",than they could be.

You can't discount the effect of Web 2.0 and the Internet explosion. Kids are now starting to come of age having known the Internet their whole lives (having been born in 1983, I feel old). It may be that not much more stuff is happening, but it's being reported more.

Which in itself could constitute a wake-up call if this stuff is real, though I myself have never been a big UFO believer.

The other possibility, that could explain the "feelings" we're all having, is all the crises going on around the world that seem to be leading up to some major explosion of worldwide chaos (perhaps in 2012). All the economic craziness, the politicians and banksters desperately trying to maintain power in the face of increasing exposure of their corruption (this will unfortunately lead to genuine atrocities before they are actually ousted). The threats of peak oil and climate change, natural disasters, etc.

We all sort of intuitively "know" that something really bad is going to happen soon. And so we desperately search for answers, and some find their answers in theories of extraterrestrials. Time will tell whether they are right, but as for me, I think the perception of "increased UFO activity" comes more from these psychological factors than from actual UFOs.

that post just reminded me of a book i read my junior year in highschool called "childhoods end" (i believe that was the name i'll have to double check) in the book the aliens come in ships and hover above cities all over the world and they talk with ambassadors and tell them that in 50 years they'll come off of the ship. the reason they do that is because in 50 years most people alive will be used to them being there their whole lives and won't be as shocked when they finally reveal themselves.

just makes me think that there could be something similar going on

I am going to need some serious chemical intervention once December 22, 2012 rolls around... My wife will be relieved that she gets another birthday by a day, other than that we will have a great sense of "What now???"

I just hope that when aliens visit we remeber to treat them like our brother with a very cautious eye on them always...Unless, they come out swinging from which we would have no choice, but defense or annilation. On a more positive note though, I think that disclosure is close; maybe the next 20 years? People still don't care enough yet...
