I've heard NASA talking a lot about the possibility of a solar storm in 2012 (conveniently coinciding with the Mayan calendar), taking out all electronic equipment and effectively taking us all back to the stone age overnight. And as you say, given how dependant we've become on electricity to function, the consequences would be dire. No doubt millions would die, if this were to happen. Although, a cynical part of me says that this might all just be an underhanded attempt to depopulate the earth under the guise of a natural disaster. Interestingly, EMP bombs do exactly the same thing as NASA have said this solar storm will do - they take out all electronical equipment on a very, very wide radius. One EMP bomb could probably render all the electronical equipment in the US immediately redundant and they don't make a sound - so the public wouldn't even know if one had been detonated. With all this stuff I've read about Agenda 21, I wouldn't be surprised.

I never even fixed the problem and my cpu worked fine.

you know reading all these articles across the world on this site just makes me believe 2012 is an important date.
