Both objects are not even near the Sun, let alone behind it! They are both to the right of the Sun.

If you are talking about the first object, it is an artifact that has been on the STEREO COR2 images for the past few years in the same exact spot. The STEREO satellites orbit around the Sun, so unless this object is in orbital lock with the satellites, and is 1/10th the size of the Sun (huge) it's an artifact on the STEREO satellite camera itself, and not a real object.

The second object is Venus.

As you can see, COR2 is showing VENUS. Although in the Stereo Orbit Graph it appears Venus is behind the Sun, it is not, that is a scale issue with the planet and sun icons. Venus is still visible to STEREO A COR2, it hasn't gone behind the Sun yet.

HI1 is showing Mercury, but that isn't the object that was in question.

On the top picture, the claim is that Cor2 looks at the sun with the sun in the center, and venus is behind the sun, and the screen from cor2 you see the object to the right in the picture, that is contradiction, it cant be two places at ones: Behind the sun as pointed out in the diagram and to the right in the pitcure..

Venus is a planet that is orbiting, and rotating around an axis. It is reflecting the Sun light but not at a constant rate, it is changing because of the orbit and rotation of the planet. Also, objects like space dust pass between the camera and Venus and also have small effects on the light reflection.

All you have done is taken to images from different times, and noticed the light reflecting from both has changed, and the very harsh image compression made it look even worse.

All you pointed out was a change in light reflection which is normal because no planets reflect a constant and even amount of light.. it always flickers a little.

ChemBreather, this following image is NOT to scale. Meaning the size of the Sun, the size of Venus and Mercury, and Earth, and the Satellites are NOT correct. Their positions however ARE...

Venus is NOT behind the Sun, it only appears that way in the graph because the icons are not to scale. In reality, Venus is still to the right of the Sun by a very large distance. The graph itself is not designed to show that much accuracy.

However, if you were to shrink the size of the Sun and Venus in the graph, and keep their positions the same, it would all fit 100%.

You are being fooled by a graph that is not really designed for what you are using it for. It's just for reference. If you could zoom in on the graph, it would probably show a much larger gap... but there is no zoom feature.

This I agree with you on. I have seen some smart people make me question their common sense.

That is how Venus ALWAYS looks in the STEREO images! Educate yourself before you make yourself look like a fool!

This type of thread has appeared a number of times sense August of 09 (since I got to Iraq on this tour). Phage has debunked this to most people's satifaction at least 3 times that I can recall (this being the third). Appearatnly this mass will eventually go behind the sun and come out the other side ..(if I remember right).
A couple of things that I question on this thread.
-How is it that a scientist working for NASA cannot distinquish between Mercury and Venus?
-The most obvious question I have is..there are only so many "heavenly bodies" passing by the sun and picked up by the the Stereo Camera system. So it should be academic..Venus is where it is suposed to be and so is Mercury and there is or is not an extra globe out there...I dont see how there can be so many variant possiblities.
The skies in Iraq are very clear and late in the evening you can see all sorts of things wipping through the sky and even got to see a partial eclipse of the moon at the end of last year.

Fos christ sakes, dont put up a picture with wrong info when trying to correct some one esles mistakes, that dont makes sense.

As I see it, it looks like a way to guard your self from all possible theories/ideas from others.

So, the Graph is wrong and shouldnt be used to 'debunk' this then, as of the Fov(Field of view) on the Cor2 is illustrated to look at the sun and the sun only.

And stuffing Venus behind the sun on the diagram and say that in the picture you have venus to the right when the illustration shows that Cor2 do not look that wide... LOL. I hope you got this....

Again, I am not saying there is any thing in these pictures, I just find it odd that there are objects left right on both satalletis and travels above the sun and not below the sun.

I have some information that Denver is not going to be safe for citizens. Its an area that could be likened to front row, so to speak for their sell out of humanity and the altars and horrific stuff they plan to hand us out to dealing with dark ones, and dumping bad karma on people with wars, starvation and envrionmental abuses.

Its one of the reasons to avoid fema or go underground on their train systems. We have to rescue people from that. I mean literally, if it ever takes off that way, we have to form resistances and break people out of that.
