It seems to me this is an unproven theory. It is possible I suppose, but is it wise to present the idea to the children as if it is fact that has been demonstrated?

We all know that loving Parents will jump all over this idea if they think it helps ease their dilemma of a child with issues. Everyone child is special, beautiful, smart and a blessing to them.

If they are in fact an evolutionary advance the evidence would show up and be demonstrable in their genes. There would be a definable difference apparent. We can test for that now, so why the conjecture and why not just demonstrate the genetic difference. If there is no genetic difference, the theory is wrong.

This is exactly my problem. These poor children are being put on a pedestal by their parents and have all these expectations put on them to be "better" than everybody else.

Eventually those children will realize that they aren't any more special and that the label just served to seperate them from their peers. I know I'd be furious at my parents for doing something like that.

And I agree, if it is an evolution thing we would clearly see it in their biological programming, but we just don't.

Well, I would like to say that it's my belief that we are mutating at unprecedented rates due to things like EM radiation, GMO's, stealth & militarized pathogens, synthetic chemicals, and the like. I think most of this is showing up as various diseased states, as evolution shows most mutations are damaging, but surely some will provide positive mutations. I just don't think that millions of people are all taking these specific leaps at the same time. Doesn't our science prove this type of jump to be gradual, and not happening all at once?

I mean, mutations are essentially, "random", in that we can't describe them entirely, and it could be just about any number of them that get damaged. To think that one specific gene is being damaged, and causing an evolutionary advance, well what could cause this? I guess something introduced into the environment which is novel, and worldwide, and has infected many mothers? It's possible. I would think it could be something like plastic.

Keeper: we don't know for sure that a certain novel genetic marker isn't presently emerging, that is giving rise to a more advanced human being. Saying that there is or isn't one, from a scientific view point, isn't factual. All we can do is speculate.

Greetings I am an Indigo...

No one is better than anyone else, that is 100% true. The difference with me/us, is how we view everyone else.

First, being an Indigo isnt fun. We are sexually challenged, way too curious, too trusting, and relationships are very difficult for us.

Our good points seem to outweigh the bad. We truly love everyone. We seem to have a basic understanding at a very young age that everyone is truly connected, we are all one. I have many Christian friends, but they are not so Christian when not at church, or while at their businesses.

It is true we are quite perceptive, I was counseling people 40 yrs older than myself when I was in my early 20s in business and I have helped so many people make so much money in an ethical way I cannot count them.

Here is my point.

While labels are bad, I knew I was different when I was 12.

I had extreme distain for anyone of authority including my parents, and this had to happen for me to be able to help others.

While I do not argue with my Christian brothers, I find the Buddhist principles the closest to actual spirituality since it involves tolerance and compassion.

As I watch tv, all i see is people trying to get stuff for themselves, me me me...

What they don't realize is that no happiness can be attained without helping others period. In fact, anyone who has deep depression, go help someone fast, and ask for nothing in return.

Simple things like helping, being connected, having empathy, extreme tolerance and extreme compassion are the path of the Indigo.

This planet is not ready for us though. Think about it. Most countries live in fear and only live for themselves. The middle east lives in the past, our country uses fear to control the masses, and just expands its borders, and even the so called Liberals want us to think they are compassionate, but I can tell you as a perceptive, it is just window dressing.

Tell me if someone murdered your brother, your mother, your father or your spouse and kids and you could forgive them 100%. can you make them your friend and forgive, which really means to FORGET, period?

That is the goal of these lifetimes. Love everyone, but forgive everyone for evrerything including yourself.

This is the path of the Indigo. The world is not ready for us...

Everyone wants to be "special".
All people want that specialness to allow them to forgo annihilation.
Not all people are equal.
If they were, then there would be no such thing as "special".
All people are unique, that is for absolute certainty.
But, almost no one is "special", hence the term.
