My speculation is that satellites are not able to photograph them because of the electromagnetic disturbances.

That video that you posted about the electromagnetic fields is quite interesting. I really need to find out why that happens. So there are the Northern Lights in the north, i have heard there are southern lights too but i have never seen photos of them. I wonder how they compare? And if the northern ones are much brighter, why aren't they as bright as the southern?

the northern lights are called aurora borealis.






and the southern are called aurora australis.

THANKS! The southern lights look really great. I remember reading that you can hear the northern lights.. are the hollow earth citizens singing to us or having a massive concert sometimes? haha... i'm just kidding (or am i?)

The Northern Lights are one of my favorite things in the world, i guess i have to add the southern lights on my list too!

Native peoples living in regions where aurora are common, often seem to claim that they hear rustling or crackling sounds

The upper atmosphere is too thin to carry sound waves, and the aurora is so far away that it would take a sound wave 5 minutes to travel from an overhead aurora to the ground. But many people claim that they hear something at the same time when there is aurora in the sky.

What if in fact the sound didnt came from the aurora itself but from inside the earth like you mentioned. That's an interesting hypotesis.

I am aware of only one case where a microphone has been able to detect audible sound associated with aurora

Yes. But that can only be done with the right conditions only during fall and spring.

Funny how this thread which had the intention to cast light upon Byrd's mysterious expedition had turn into a photography session.

Once again, is the interview that Byrd gave after leaving Antarctica authentic and what could he mean when he said that America or the World would be attacked by flying objects from the north or south pole. Is the interview in fact legit and if so what did he mean.

Maybe the Anunnaki stationed bases up in Antarctica because they know that no human would venture that far. I say Anunnaki because I believe they are probably still on this Earth observing us. But we do have bases probably up there now so I don't have a clue.

Hey this thread is awesome. I wish ATS was still like this, instead of ideas without research to back up claims. But while I was reading your posts I thought I would go to Google Earth to check it out and found an interesting area that looks like there might have been some hi-res imagery, but has an over lapping image. Almost like they wanted it to look like it was a mapping tear. But the area underneath is rectangular like the hi-res shots that are normally found in GE.

It's weird that the Southing has 7 digits. I have never encountered that before. Anyways, it may be nothing. But it is nearer to a natural inlet which could be beneficial to the calming of a heavy sea. Maybe nothing of course. I am by no means a expert in sat images along with stitching.

OK. I finally watched parts of the 1 hour documentary Secrets of the 3rd Reich.

So now i have a basic understanding of how the secret societies helped in the development of World War II.

It seems that one of the societies, the Vril society, wanted to get away from combustion engines because those means of propulsion were destructive, so they wanted to find a way to use levitation.

In Germany, how to people feel about the Nazi UFOs? Do most people believe they exist?

In the documentary i watched they showed an article published in the New York Times from 1944 that claims that a UFO was nazi made. I found found this article:

If the germans found some way of levitating their aircrafts the uses of this could be endless. Maybe the ancients knew of this technology and used these kind of flying saucers to help move giant stones to build the great pyramids and other amazing monuments with 100-1000 ton stones.

I only watched half the documentary because i was watching it while i was falling asleep but i was pretty amazed by what i saw. I have seen the Nazi UFO books at the book stores with all the diagrams and photos of close up UFOs that look exactly like the ones in the photos.

This is all so crazy yet so believable.

So if they were real, why isn't this technology being used today! It seems like we could possibly get away from using oil by using vehicles with this technology?

What is the driving force of this technology? What makes them move? Was it gas?

I believe that blueprints and parts of these Saucers are hidden somewhere ( Antarctica??Patagonia??, i don't know...

or they might be even lost on the bottom of the ocean on a U-Boat.

Dear Beastmaster, it's 2 am for me here in the Netherlands and I was about to go to bed, but there are some things I want to share with you.

Ok, these saucers are real but you're watching the wrong documentary! It is the clone from the one I mentioned some posts ago. So far I've found only a very small part of it. It's about "Haunebu3" a flagship 72 meters in diameter.
The show you're watching doesn't mention this trip, but a trip to Aldebaran and back in time ---> Babylonia.

It is more likely that the numerous expeditions around the world brought so much knowledge together that they accidentally stumbled across the ancient space travelers and/or ancient aliens. My guess is that the ancient Indian Vimanas have a great deal to do with it, just like the work of Viktor Schauberger.

Another thing is politics. What happened after the war with Germany? What with Neu Schwabenland aka New Swabia? In the List of Antarctic Expeditions there is no mentioning of this one:

I got this copy from a youtube user who has a closet full of stuff like that.
He has also got 2 identical envelopes from this institution, but there is no further information about this on the web. Just that the founder and owner of the institution had a very strict policies concerning the expeditions. No picture or story was allowed to go out without his permission.

Germany is still occupied and has a puppet government.
Officially the USA and all the other nations are still at war with Germany.
So what to say about those "UFOs" that shut down both American an Russian missile silos. There is also a UFO report about a UFO destroying a weapons factory in Russia. (Read that in a book some years ago, gotta think which book it was) Guess who it was???

You are right, there is nothing on the internet about the 1964-1965 german antarctic expedition. However i found this information about reports of UFOs from 1965:

Yet such claims would have died out had they not been based on at least some real events. That something strange was happening around the foreboding continent took an interesting turn in the 1960s when the Argentine Navy was charged with the official investigation into strange sightings in the sky. A 1965 official report prepared by Captain Sanchez Moreno of the Naval Air Station, Comandante Espora in Bahia Blanca stated:

"Between 1950 and 1965, personnel of Argentina’s Navy alone made 22 sightings of unidentified flying objects that were not airplanes, satellites, weather balloons or any type of known (aerial) vehicles. These 22 cases served as precedents for intensifying that investigation of the subject by the Navy (20)."

Following a series of sightings at Argentine and Chilean meteorological stations on Deception Island, Antarctica, in June and July 1965, Captain Engineer Omar Pagani disclosed at a press conference that,

"the unidentified flying objects do exist. Their presence in Argentine airspace is proven. Their nature and origin are unknown and no judgment is made about them." (21)

More details of these UFO sightings were given in a report in the Brazilian newspaper ‘O Estado de Sao Paulo’ in its 8th July 1965 edition.

"For the first time in history, an official communiqué has been published by a government about the flying saucers. It is a document from the Argentine Navy, based on the statements of a large number of Argentine, Chilean and British sailors stationed in the naval base in Antarctica.

The communiqué declared that the personnel of Deception Island (left) naval base saw, at nineteen hours forty minutes on 3 July, a flying object of lenticular shape, with a solid appearance and a colouring in which red and green prevailed and, for a few moments, yellow. The machine was flying in a zig-zag fashion, and in a generally western direction, but it changed course several times and changed speed, having an inclination of about forty-five degrees above the horizon. The craft also remained stationary for about twenty minutes at a height of approximately 5,000 meters, producing no sound.

So it seems there were UFOs reported in June and July around Antarctica by Chile. Do you have the actual PDF of the book or did the youtube guy just send you a couple of pages? If you can find the actual dates of the trip that would be very cool.

Another interesting thing that i have always wondered about is why did the US stop going on these expeditions and why did the Soviet travel so heavily to this antarctica? I really don't think that the cold war existed and it was a cover up. Do you know what i mean? I don't think we were ever really threatened with war with Russia. I mean it's possible but i have a feeling that is not the case. Could the Russian expeditions also be a joint venture with the US? I just find it strange that the US stopped traveling to Antarctica especially after something strange happened during Operation Highjump. Is it possible also that the Soviets were aiding the german base there?

I want to reiterate that i don't have any evidence of Russia and US conspiring with each other, it's just a feeling. I just was amazed at how many trips Russia took. Also if there was a german base they would need supplies i am guessing, and as you have shown their expeditions are not listed on that wiki page.

Have you heard of the documentary series called Legends of Atlantis? It is a very strange documentary that mix's prophecies with history. It is a 5 part documentary and i can not find much information of the creation of it, all i can find online are people bashing it and sharing the links to the videos. A lot of it i have to say is total BS, there are interviews with very questionable people but i seem to remember seeing Eric Von Daniken being interviewed.

Anyways the first 4 parts are hard to watch and i admit i haven't really watched them, but the 5th part gets into the Antarctica. The reason i mention it is because the person that seems to be behind this video could be Jim Hurtak, who appears in the video "Secrets of the 3rd Reich". Here is some info on Hurtak from wiki:

It's hard to find documentaries on Antarctica in English so these are the only two that i know of that get into this subject. I look forward to your response!

Operation Deep Freeze is still going on and goes there every year. I went there 4 times in the 80s as part of it. I was Air Force Aircrew that flew everyone down there. That is the mission that swaps winter/summer crews and supplies.

Now the one in the 50s was most likely much different...
