I am off work in two weeks for a week so I can begin to put it together, hopefully. There was another small quake this morning which showed on the webicoder and was quickly followed by a very small puff of ash.
Very few people saw her go this time because of the thunder noise and the quickness of the eruption. I just wish we could see inside her, like slicing a cake.
This was the quake, or one of then this morning. It is usual for her to shake a little the day after an eruption.

LOTS of ash tonight. Lots.
The wind isn't headed in this direction but towards Catania.
I feel sorry for all those people who're going to get it. Terrible stuff.
No other 'action' though - noise, lava, nope. Just ash.

Tzavros - I"m looking forward to hearing more.
Have a good vacation!

She still has hot points from the last episode and lots of ground activity. Monitoring my 3 points at the moment. Might be very difficult to catch her this time as I have to go to bed at 10pm. Then not looked at until 6am the next day. I have been lucky so far in that She has always shown clues outside these times.
I did some more plotting and reading last night so nearly there with my theory.
Take care.

I wasn't at home this afternoon but from a distance it looked as if (mixed with evening clouds) there as a lot of ash spewing out. No noise, I couldn't see any lava but it will be interesting as She's following her pattern. Now let's wait to see if she gets quiet - and then? KAPLOOEE!

Had several quakes today, at the moment 2 points on my triangle unless I go for my 2nd triangle then it would be 3. This 2nd one is more for Stromboli than Etna, she is having a little turn tonight.
Magnitude: 2.0

The webicoder is getting thicker but nothing sure yet, really a little early to say. Another 30 minutes before i turn in for the night. It won't be very long though before Etna shows though as the signs have strenghthened over the last day.
You know what She is like though, I have to have the point of no return before saying, yes She is off.

Now! The thing is with Etna, when do you call? She is still snow capped from this morning when I started to monitor. Most cameras are either cloud covered or to difficult to tell what is going on. Stats are rising very slowly at the moment, only a 1 point rise from 8am this morning. Etna is very difficult sometimes. At this point she could go for the 16th paroxysmal eruptive episode in a few hours or just turn over and go back to sleep. I will let you know more in about 30 minutes, but get the covers on just in case. In an hour we should know one way or the other.
Take care all.

Got your message TZ, very kind of you to send heads up.
So just trying o catch up on the time frame here, has the half hour to hour over run yet?
We might be in for a busy week end between Etna, El Hierro, Katla and Cleveland!
Then we maybe should throw a sideways glance over at Krakatoa, Shiveluk, Sukurajima too!

Moving very slowly but stats are still above normal. Slight warming noticed as well in the last 30 minutes. She might hover for a while before either climbing more or falling to normal. She is very dark and there is slight melt from this morning.

Wow - I can't see Her because of the rain and clouds but I can sure FEEL HER!

Ouch!

I'll see what I can do with pictures if it clears. I'm off to check on info though - She's really making the ground shake!!!

It seems - whatever She did was fast and hard and over. I'm hearing nothing, and sadly can't see anything due to cloud cover. I'm not hearing anything more and the grounds stopped shaking also.

I wish I could have seen that!!!

Have a good weekend Tzavros! Thanks!

I don't know what that was, She just vented from somewhere different for a moment. Not over yet for the main boom. Still going up.

Tremore vulcanico now up to 30, remember last time it hit the 150 mark with a half hour episode. The question is, will she do that again?
Webicoder is starting to show a lot of movement.
Can you hear anything Silo?

You're right on the button as usual! She's still at it. Went quiet there for a few but is now right back at it (not just now, a half hour ago or so). I'm in hopes the weather will clear so I can 'see' and not just hear, but, not so for now. I'll be back with pics later - I hope!
