In just the few moments since my first post this evening the mountain is just bathed in lava!

(From here) it looks like there are TWO active lava spouts - one a continuous bright orange glow - the other spewing lava sky high! The lava bombs are outrageous! I can only imagine how HUGE they are!

LOTS (more) lava activity - but strangely enough not so loud as before.

Get to those cams people, this is a sight you will NOT want to miss!

I cannot express the superlatives needed for this ! It's weird tho' this compared to a few days ago has not been accompanied by the booms etc and ground shaking ...guess she was just ready to spill over , no harm done (bar your washing Silo ) hopefully.

I think She has just peeked, hopefully. Slight turn in the data.

Lot's of ash/fallout hitting north of here now. Reports the airport may close.

The lava is continuing - just not spewing so high in the air. Getting louder. If the wind changes just a bit there's going to be a lot of mess again.

Oh and yes, the dogs are getting noisy on the island again.

Yes, Tzvaros, it seems She's leveling out/off a bit now.
