from what I heard
most of Southern CA is without power

While I was watching the ABC stream linked earlier in this post they never mentioned this. After 3 or so hours of watching the only time they mentioned power outage in SoCal was residents in Dana Point, CA.

Edit: I live in Orange County, CA and no one in my neighborhood experienced loss of power. In addition to that I as well as many friends had no problems with cell phone calls/texts.

from what I heard
most of Southern CA is without power
and stations cant transmit
and most cell phone towers
are out of service
so it may be days before
we can see or hear of damages.
I was also checking the other threads
where CA residents were posting their
experiences, then they all stopped posting.
So I don't have a clue.
Am worried now for them.
Baja is getting pounded
one after another
4-10 minutes apart

I have yet to read or hear of any such widespread damage/outages.... Mexicali suffered somewhat but apart from that only small pockets of very minor damage.

Well there is no scientific evidence of what I am about to say but to who ever reads this I can only tell you what I know and what makes sense to me of what is going on with the earth quakes, and people.

The one important factor of a earth quake other than the motion is the frequency of the quake. As you all know that animals are vary sensitive to this.

Well lets just say that in our transformation of the human race to 2012 or beyond we as human beings are tuning into the earths frequency more closely than we are aware of and now we are all starting to feel what the earth is feeling. Just think of it as a reflection of what we are thinking of the planet is being reflected back to us as earth quakes and now we are all being to feel it, as we keep getting closer to matching the earths frequency.

What does this mean, as we all shift closer to the frequency that we need to be at so will the earth and thus when we reach the same vibrational frequency then that's when thing get really interesting.

The amount of people affected by the earth quake is an indication of what is to come next for us as a people.

We should all be looking at the effect of the quake on people to see how many feel the same thing, this will show how much closer we are to reaching the critical mass that is required for the shift to take hold and change the people and planet, this is an important event as you can see the quakes are now taking place where people live, call it what you want but this is a trend that will become more prominent as the world talks back to us we better listen to what she is saying.

All things vibrate, when we talk it's sound and it vibrates, well earth quakes vibrate and so she can talk to, are any of us listening to what she is saying.

I'm trying are you.

We felt the quake in Long Beach CA too. It went on for nearly 40 seconds or so. It was a soft rolling motion that made the chandelier sway back and forth but no sharp jolts (well, we were nearly 200 miles from the epicenter). The 4.4 quake we had a couple weeks ago was harder but lasted only 2 seconds. This made me dizzy and gave me some bad headaches (still have them). Very strange in deed.

Noticed that too once you brought it up, was a bit odd. Glad to see it's back up though.

I live in Brawley, Ca - About 25 minutes away from Mexicali. It was said that the earthquake hit 7.2 in Mexicali, and 6.9 Where I live. It was pretty wierd. Felt like the ground was pushing my feet up, and I looked around and really saw everything moving in a swaying motion, Lasted for around 30-45 Seconds. And nothing IMO like the 5.9 that hit a few months ago which felt like a rough jolt/push.

There's also a warning for my county (Imperial County) Just letting us know that there is a possible chance of a greater earthquake to hit.

So anyone near by, Take precautions. You never know what could happen.

those are from earlier today
notice the shadow of the sun on the ground
it is now night time and dark
and just after 10:30 pm.
so yes, it is pics of damage
but it isn't over yet
shocks 2.0+ are still going on
as we type

but I will say I made a booboo
i glanced over an article on the
net from a google search and it said
most of S. CA was without power.
Since then I went back and found it and it
was an older article and had nothing
to do with today's events. So I clarify
that mistake right now, sorry my bad.
That's what I get for trying to skim too many materials
without reading the entire article.

Yep, check out the ATS Quake Watch thread - we're reporting quakes over 3.5+ - they're still coming and probably will do for a while yet.

It is PERFECTLY normal after a big quake event. California has hundreds of quakes a day... this increase is exactly what happens after a big event.. it's really nothing to be alarmed about - worth monitoring, yes - but no need to panic.

There may be some larger events in the next day or so - but again, these are expected.

call it a bad feeling or superstition
but I would like to suggest that if
u can leave, u may want to travel east
bound out of the danger zone.
This looks like it could get a lot worse.

6 more Just since I posted that:

MAP 3.2 2010/04/05 05:39:53 32.391 -115.574 2.8 BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO
MAP 2.6 2010/04/05 05:39:04 32.607 -115.774 9.4 BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO
MAP 2.6 2010/04/05 05:37:48 32.565 -115.898 4.2 BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO
MAP 2.5 2010/04/05 05:36:38 32.506 -115.669 5.8 BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO
MAP 2.5 2010/04/05 05:35:19 32.661 -115.767 1.1 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
MAP 3.3 2010/04/05 05:30:46 32.472 -115.611 0.1 BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO

I guess they are really lucky, because if there is this much energy for all these smaller quakes, imagine if it had all released at once.

EDIT: Also, California does NOT have "hundreds of earthquakes a day". Have you even looked at the list of daily earthquakes? Keep scrolling down...keep going...where are the "hundreds" that have happened besides the ones after todays 7.2 in Baja? Do you even see 10 in a day? even 5?

Carlsbad is a city in Southern California, haha. That is why I made the jump real quick. After people started hinting towards it being weird that certain things were happening during the EQ it just got annoying because they don't realize that EQs are normal for Southern California. Every natural disaster does not have to be caused by HAARP and not every thing the government does is a conspiracy. [Though the govt is crooked and a lot of it is a conspiracy.] Sorry for jumping on you though, I was just skimming down after I saw someone's conspiracy blabber. I failed.

Since many people were mentioning a "dizzy" feeling of the quake, I found this article that it is somewhat normal. But I was following some feedback of the earthquake on twitter and 1 out of 10 of so talked about the dizzy feeling.
