CIA intelligence officer sheds light on conspiracy theories

I recently rented The Men Who Stare at Goats and found this interesting six minute video on the website that's associated with the real life individuals that the film is based on.

In it, former CIA intelligence officer Robert Steele talks about the CIA, Big Pharma, Banksters, how wars are created and credits Jim Marrs' excellent Rule By Secrecy for waking him up:

Now that's a credible source if there ever was one. I just wonder how long it will be until somebody comes screaming onto this thread who can't wait to try and smear him or just plain spew poorly constructed sentences about how fake he is, etc. I bet it's less than an hour.

I never watched the movie or read the book. Would you recomend it?

The book by Jon Ronson is great.

Totaly recommend it. I've not seen the film, but by the looks of it they've given it a comedy image, then again you know what it's like....if people think it's funny in the movies, they'll just laugh when they see it done abroad for real.

Yes, I would recommend the film. Excellent cast -- George Clooney, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges and Ewan McGregor.

Overall, I'd say good, but not great for a subject that I'm very interested in. And a true story.

IMO the movie was horrible, the only funny parts were the ones seen in the trailors.

However this Steele guy is interesting, he seems to hit the nail right on the head with everything he says. We need more men of this stature to speak out and get the word across to the general public.

edit to add, I shouldnt say the movie was horrible Just something I wouldnt spend money to see.

I was especially interested in the subject matter, which touched on MKUltra and remote viewing. Well worth the $1.08 I spent at Red Box.

Starwatcher, he certainly does hit the nail on the head, especialy regarding the scale of corporate interest and influence - I don't know if you've seen this film but it also raises quite a few astute points.

This guy confirms what I've been yelling about the last few months. International Corporations...and the the banks (Federal REserve) are really destroying the wealth of all nations.

This is why our trade laws do not change. This is why our tariffs are at 2 percent.

People are angry at the government...but it's the government that is the only truly peaceful way to take back what was once ours.

It's how the greatest middle class the world has ever seen was essentially built.

Back when we had good Presidents like Eisenhower and FDR.

Most of us have not lived to see a real President...nor a TRULY legitimate government.

Have seen the movie and I didn't like it much. If you want to kinda get creeped out get the book. Some of the things they did were amazing, some were cruel. To the poster saying this site has moved to an obama bashing site, not so much, but there are a lot of gov's employees on now trying to change the mood around here for personal gain.

The world is a prsion for your soul and until people realize this and choose to be set free no constitution or anything else will set you free.

It is really sad when men like this come out and speak their mind and your labled a crazy person if you agree with them even though its all based off facts.

Insanity is doing something repetedly expecting different results.

I consider Jim Marrs a good friend and I enjoy every minute I get to spend with him. While he doesn't think like anyone else I know, I am grateful he thinks the way he does.

He thinks deeply about the little details most of us either miss completely or, overlook intentionally, his college education in journalism truly honed what I suspect was an already very inquisitive mind.

Don't get me wrong, we've disagreed on several issues but, I don't begrudge his seeing a conspiracy in almost everything because he's been deeply researching the rabbit hole for years. It's hard to do that and walk away unchanged.

This video is important and I hope tens of thousands watch it today. Even if some people think this former agent is a "crackpot", there is absolute truth in some of what he says, and that lends serious credibility to the rest of what he says to me.

As some have said, we can't change anything if we don't know what's really happening.

Thats because Glenn Beck and talk show hosts like him scare idiots by saying Obama is a marxist/socialist/muslim and then those idiots get on the internet(maybe for the 1st time) and repeat his message.
The real people who control EVERY government with a central bank and probably most without one are the bankers. Specifically the Rothschilds and their associates.

Also someone needs to show the CIA agent the video where Mike Ruppert confronts the CIA director (Jon Deutch, I think) about CIA drug dealing. Then he would know why we aren't serious about stopping drugs.
