Ok, so doomsday is either today or tomorrow according to the OP.

So, 'Doomsday 2029', what is supposed to happen today or tomorrow? Somebody in Las Vegas hits Blackjack against the house and wins a few million?

Well, I'm coming into this Black Jack thing probably a little too late (where have I been? I haven't heard of this before). Not paying attention I guess.

I haven't read all the posts or the old thread (which I intend to do).

But I wanted to share a couple of things I found interesting.

There was a reference to an April 20,2010 prediction of an event. Did anyone mention this:

This form of brainwashing is carried out through their news media, television, movies, popular music, and fashion. They have been very successful in the developing countries and the Muslim nations in using these powerful tools of influence to mold and twist the minds of the young so that they crave, praise and participate in that depraved Western culture.

Also on the slideshow, I opened the source code and it said it hadn't been updated since 1/12/2009.

Also the source code mentions GSA Channel. This could be a link to a Government Service Contract?

interesting that this threat was made just recently, however I am a full believer that the human consciousness directly intervenes with world events. People need to stop thinking that something is going to happen this week. Why don't we all pray and visualize hmmm...maybe NOTHING happing? no catastrophes or deaths?

there was another thread on ATS, about how the "illuminati" expects you all to become fear mongerers and it's true. the thoughts we project have incredible powers. there have been lots of books written about this. So how about we all think about how peaceful this week shall be?

With so many doomsday predictions floating around then nothing happens, it won't be long before people start shrugging them off as being nothing more than the delusions of those who happen to be a brick short of a load.
Once in a while however, a warning comes along that appears to have been well researched (like this one) by someone who seems to be on the ball, but as with the "Boy Who Cried Wolf", the warnings go unheeded and we are caught with our thumbs in our butts and running around wondering just what the heck we are going to do. Perhaps most of the phony prophecies are put out deliberately so as to screw with people's minds to a point where they'll never be sure about anything again. In such a confused state a one world government might not seem like such a bad idea after all, especially if people are under the impression their own government can't do a thing to help them. I'm far from being all for the N.W.O., but if it would gaurantee worldwide peace and the elimination of poverty, why not a one world government? Instead of trillions of dollars being spent on war, the money could be spent researching new forms of clean energy, and wiping out disease. Because of its greed and all the problems it has caused over the past couple of thousand years, get rid of all organized religion. People can still pray, but they don't need a church in which to do so. As far as I'm concerned, the Pope & Co. worship Satan anyway!

AS of 4:18 CDT - Rahm Emanuel may quit, Yahoo science news about black holes and colliding universes, Leonard Nimoy got a town dedicated to him (a city named Vulcan somewhere in Canada), the Times Square car bomber pleads guilty, the oil is still leaking in the Gulf oh and, I may be getting a new job. Yea for me. So far that's the top news stories. But, I'll keep watching.

As some of you know the Blackjack comic strip is based on the storyline of Jericho where the corporation Jennings and Rall (read Halliburton maybe) orchestrate a terrorist nuclear attack on the US using nukes in oil drums loaded on vans in major cities. After the attack the country is split up and you have privite security firm Ravenwood (Blackwater) going around trying to run the show. Then there's episode 13 too 'Black Jack'
The guy that made the comic strip at the Telegraph actually admitted that they (the ones that made it) were all Jericho fans.

The Killers song is at the start of Jericho, episode 1 and also it plays significantly in the movie 'Southland Tales', also featuring nukes going off in US cities, bringing about a weird police state.

Well my birthday has been the way I like it so far: quiet. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

I'm a big fan of Jericho also and I could swear there is at least 1 other song than that one. Figures the good shows are killed and BS that's left gets promoted to fame. I remember what they replaced it with: Kid Nation (:flame

Anyway, its actually been a relatively slow news day. Although I have to admit that I think the weather has been weird around the midwest. Far hotter and wetter than it normally is in June. My dad and I both couldn't remember it being like this this early in the Summer. This is Late July weather.

With so many pans on the fire though it won't take much for something to flare up so it could be that 5 minutes after I post something goes horribly wrong. That's just how our world is now.

I honestly did'nt know any of that. I have never seen 'Jericho' or read any Blackjack comic strips, its only the last couple of days that I have heard Blackjack mentioned on here ( I have been meaning to look into it all as it seems topical to ATS) I have never seen 'Southland Tales' either. ( Shame on me proclaiming to be an avid ATSer lol)
