to be fair, most white south africans deserve what they get, their decended from b***tards and for the most ARE b++stards.

Excuse me? What gives you the right to call anyone names? Have you ever been to South Africa? Do you know any white South Africans? Did you know their parents (or any of their forefathers)? You simply cannot make such a sweeping statement just because you feel like it. (On a side note many "white South Africans" descend from English folks... Just saying.
)

And explain to me how I deserve to be murdered or even just be discriminated against because the politicians of thirty five years ago were racist!? No person should ever be held responsible for what their parents or grandparents did... That's just ludicrous.

One of my teachers always told us to "think before you ink". I now offer you the same advice.

I note that Malema has finally been muzzled. Good thing if what he was spouting was true.

He hasn't been muzzled by a long shot yet. And there is no "if" he is saying this stuff.

But he will be never fear. Natural selection will claim this one. My old man put it all in perspective when he reminded me of Peter Mokaba

Right well here is a curious thing. Just try this for size. Try not to do the Kneejerking.

Remember when Mandela was freed in the '90s. There has been a government of reconciliation in place for over 15 years. The ANC does have a let of well-read politicos in it.

I am getting to the point..

So how come they have only recently stopped singing the "kill the Boer" Lyrics???? I am not a conspiracy nut. In fact I find the whole thing tedious. In fact sometimes Sh*t happens. Nothing more and nothing less.

I confess that I am not an expert on SA politics but neither are some who post here. If this song has been retained I can only assume that it was meant for intimidation. Government has responsibility after all.

Thank you, i take what you said about South Africans to heart. Since i am one, everybody i'm related to is one, and everybody i know happens to be South African too.

Your broad brush painting ANY group is typical of the racist rubbish we're trying so hard to eradicate here. And i do not believe that you have met any more South Africans than those that have emigrated, and as such make up a VERY small percentage of any real demagraphic of South Africans.

Your first world education seems to have done nothing for your spelling either.

If you truly believed in karma, the UK has created more bad karma over the last few hundred years than we could ever hope for, so good luck with that. Do i need to remind you that the British created apartheid? Or that the British invented concentration camps for those they captured (women, children, old people).

How is it that racism is always linked to irrevocable stupidity? Similar to arrogance, although racism and arrogance are twins.

Anyhow, you have plenty of all 3.

EDIT: for spelling, i can blame my 3rd (4th) world education

Not to mention the fact that most of those expats left becaue they were more racist than the rest of the country.

Lets also not forget that most of those who left did so by dint of a british or other foreign passport (easily mostly british though, no offense brits). Most South Africans have only one passport and believe me it's not an easy one to travel on let alone emmigrate.

As a South African myself who did not abandon ship and like a racist traitor flee to the UK (strange the UK would accept people like this? [Soort Soek Soort] Birds of a feather I guess...) I too take extreme insult to the comments made that "paint us with the same brush".

I get the impression that all the South African expats are writing these crazy comments because they have come to the realization that they ran away from a non existent problem and are now trying to fuel a race war from abroad so that they can justify there miserable existence overseas and say "see we told you so".

Stop fueling the media with nonsense and stop throwing stones from the other side of the fence.

Dammit we have one of the most beautiful countries in the world and some of the most incredible opportunities to continue making it a success.

how do you know those people who left are racists? Did someone do a poll for the reasons they left and there was an option to choose 'i left because i hate black people'? or are you just a racist who hates those who have left?

Ok they may not all have been racists true. Some people did leave more from fear of crime than just plain old racism and a few just got better offers elsewhere. But by doing so they have run from the problem instead of tackling it. And fear is the primary evil it warps your sense objectivism.

And they soon either get caught up in misleading media or they milsead the people in their new homes. I have been in the UK on and off for the last 2 years and the people who have the worst things to say about SA are easily the expats. I've met them from all over the UK from London to Belfast to Edinburgh and most places in between.

And no not all of them either but more than the majority.

Quite right Raivo and I take that back.

Guess I was letting my emotions get the better of me but there is a large portion of expats that I talk to when I visit friends in the UK who clearly make racial remarks and when I try point this out to them I am branded as a K@ff!r Lover.

Expats have no idea the damage they are doing to this wonderful country by spreading viscious rumours abroad yet they are very quick to proudly display their patriotism when things go right for South Africa.

I have lived abroad in three different first world countries and cannot tell you how relieved I am each time when I get back home!

maybe south africa needs some good 'ol fashioned "REGIME CHANGE", USA Style?

kick this racist youth leader out on his backside and get the UN in there to hold the peace.

like others have said earlier, no african nation with a black leader has got too far....they will reap the fruits of their labour. what makes this Zuma think that south africa will do better than Zimbabwe by taking back the white farms....

i bet if TSHTF you'll get alot of white mercenaries enter the country to support the whites.

Yeah you would. I think a lot of them are itching to get out of the dessert and back into the bush. Will that be a good thing? I dunno. True there would be leadership and experience but when you wage war for a living how much do you want to see peace?

But then again you don't s*** where you sleep. And they know this too

I am tired of always hearing how white people are racists in this country as it is not the case, and hasn't been for a long time.

White people aren't racist in the country? You sound ridiculous and have been deceived by a fake and similarly ridiculous facebook entry which so happens to assert your own pre-conceived racist ideologies.

Oh seriously...

Please just go piss somewhere else.
The Facebook entry was not fake- it was written by a black nurse with an agenda. She just used the persona of a black male instead of her own.

And the facebook msg isn't even a drop in the ocean opposed to what Malema is doing- maybe you should take the time to read. It couldn't hurt to properly inform yourself...

It's just not internet gossip - it's on the news every night & they even started debate shows on this topic instead of regular programming.

So, stop pretending that it's all in my head or whatever else you were implying.

I do have a right to be concerned for the direction our country is taking.

Geesh Jinx... I get the impression you would actually love to see a war in South Africa?

On another note.

Crazy thought... but then again this is the purpose of ATS so please don't climb down my throat for suggesting this.

Looking at the recent direction this thread has taken, does anyone think that there is a connection between the World Cup Soccer / Football coming up and the fact that Malema is being encouraged (paid very well?) to deliberately try and sabotage South Africa from hosting the games?

I leave you with this thought...

I do not understand how you could think that jinx, or any of us want war?

These things are spiralling out of control, in front of us, and we certainly want some end to this. All democratic principles are failing.

WRT the soccer world cup, sports embargoes worked against apartheid, why should it not be valid against the equally problematic anc? The SWC is China's baby this year. We as a country prouced hardly anything of the merchandise, the promised "jobs and money" has been neatly rerouted to sweatshops in china. For profit maximisation.

Locals here cannot afford the tickets, nor the merchandise. Even the South African flags that people fly from their cars are made in China.

This is not what the SWC is supposed to be. The stadiums have cost us, the taxpayers in this country, billions of rands, when people living almost next door do not have water, or eletricity. How do you think THOSE people feel? Townships all over the country have been virtual warzones recently, over lack of delivery and service protests.

As to sabotaging the SWC, perhaps. I see this as a last chance to grab cash from the international community before implementing land grabs. IMHO, they're playing with fire, and don't actually know what they are doing. Ergo it's going to go badly wrong for them, and anybody caught in the way.

Ignorance and arrogance.

Here is another great example of how Malema is busy collecting rope for his hanging...

ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema kicked a BBC journalist out of a press conference, calling him "a bastard and a bloody agent".
Fisher has walked out of the briefing following the tirade.

Malema said journalists should not undermine him, especially at ANC headquarters, Luthuli House.

Malema said he was not threatening media freedom, but demanding respect. "When you are in my house you must behave," he said.
...

As I said before – he is nothing but a big bully.

His actions are becoming more irrational by the day, and he is clearly mentally unstable. It's only a matter of time before he is kicked to the kerb.

It must be frightening to live in such a tense proximity. I am not clued up on the politics of SA, I do not know what a realistic solution could be for your country where it seems a race clash is doomed to go on forever. I am also shocked to hear that the British Gov created the apartheid for their own ends, this is truely new to me.

Heres an article on it to anyone else who finds this information new www.independent.co.uk... fricans-to-lose-their-rights-1370856.html" target="_blank" class="postlink">link

Also to the people saying that it is deserved. No violence is deserved, regardless of SA's past, you don't get anywhere by persecuting a group of people. All you will get is a continued cycle of violence that will go on for centuries. People should not have lost rights in their own land, yes, but the generation that face this new wave of retaliation did not plant the seeds of the problem. I don't know if their is still racism in SA, there probably is given the nature if it past, but please I don't think you should talk so passionately about something you don't understand.
