Thank you for the first direct answer - no, the video has no evidence linking Israel to 9/11.

Which then means, the thread title does not make sense.

I'm sure you and I would agree about many things in terms of Israeli policies - such as the gaza settlements making new news.

The dual citizenship issue isn't one I've spent time on, but it's a separate issue.

Thank you for the straightforward information.... but I'm still inclined to think that there really is no central thesis or set of facts to the videos. Just, commentary and opinion. It's evident in the lack of a direct request for such.

In sum, the OP used a video as evidence for a hypothesis that itself contains no such evidence. It makes me 'angry' when such propaganda is proffered as proof. To me, it's tantamount to a lie, when the OP admits by his silence that there is no such evidence within the video.

Your comment on page 1 pretty much sums up how I feel about Israel.

I am very suspect of the behavior of the many Israeli-Zionists in our government.
They have no business holding the positions of power that they hold while also holding themselves to another, possibly higher oath.

Too much of a risk if you ask me.
And what they promote is just flat out whatever is good for Israel.

But jumping on an "Israel Sucks" bandwagon without having hard evidence to establish congruency with the premise is a great way to look like the cliche anti-Semite.
It's a ploy most times in my opinion.

Like I said, I am adamantly anti the policies of Israel.
I have no problem with them having a state, but why do they go about it by committing mass genocide while flaunting a "my way or the highway" attitude with the rest of the world?

Interesting that the video has the bit about the guys in the van being detained... but more interesting is that video fails to include the subsequent retractions.

Interesting that when the guy on Israeli TV said that 'their purpose was to document the event' , that somehow people read into this anything more than an explanation of why they were: taping the event. Which is to say, this was them explaining how they were NOT agents - just, interested, and with camera. And they certainly weren't the only ones to record the events.

And to reiterate my larger point, you guys really ought to be able to offer summaries instead of just posting links to time consuming videos - in a lot of places, that's not considered a valid response, so much as a form of avoidance of being direct.

I'm going to assume you actually care about justice being seen in this case. If that is the case, you have to act a little bit like a salesperson if you want people to buy your message. If you want people to buy what you are selling, you need to do what academics and journalists do - provide succinct summaries with the salient facts. Otherwise, they will feel you are wasting their time, and perhaps aren't being completely honest. They certainly won't waster their time reading your material, unless they happen to be people who already agree with your hypothesis and are in search of personal validation.

On the larger stage, however, this is considered a kind of insult to your audience, and it signals to them that you are hiding something, and that you have no regard for their time.

Simply put, if this is how you want to 'do' this thing, then you will never convince anyone who isn't already convinced. If you want others to care, act like you care about them, too.

Me? I just want to know what REALLY happened, which to date, is impossible. There simply isn't enough available evidence to do anything but wonder.

I am 14 minutes into the video and I am shocked that Israel was not listed on the axis of evil.

I haven't seen anything about 9/11 yet, but I have over two hours to go.

But just from the Liberty attack alone, there has been mighty, mighty treason in the high office.

You do know that circumstantial evidence can be used to convict someone of a crime if it is overwhelming circumstantial evidence.

You just put it right out there that not only do you already have your mind made up without a basis in facts, you say you WANT Israel to be the guilty party.

Why on earth would you WANT them to be the guilty party?


This is what I mean by people caring more about winning an argument or validating their own beliefs than they do about actual truth, and actual justice.

It's maddening how few people - not just in this area, but in so many others - care more about being right, than learning the truth. And for those of us that really DO care, it's frustrating to have to be associated with this kind of 'scholarship' - people are already primed by it, to the point that as soon as I ask a question about the OS, they already mock me as a nutty 'troofer', as if I must too hold those same beliefs, and same tendencies to choose facts to support conclusions, rather than the other way around.

Look man, if I have a bias, then I am honest about it.

I don't try to hide behind some kind of a facade of "oh I am so opened minded and judicious", when I know I have biases.

But the fact that I can be honest about it and still show objectivity means that I am comfortable with my decisions and respectful of others. Something that I don't too often see in this debate concerning Israel.
From either side of the fence.

I am more objective than most that I run into on these boards, so please, until YOU have a smoking gun, don't make overgeneralized assumptions about me.
