Hey good point, I didn't see those pics. I should have read further it just frustrated me that so many people starred a post that (at that moment, without the other corroborating photo) meant absolutely nothing. Although I still question the validity of that video, since it is entirely possible that the toy company who made that flying saucer indeed rolled out more than one off the assembly line in an attempt to turn a profit.

Yeah, that makes sense. They probably made and sold tons of toy UFOs and gave away free replicas of Hutchison's apartment as well?

That is undoubtedly his place being filmed with that UFO. How did the toy company pull that off?

The fact of the matter is he is not present in that video, so even with the little picture of him holding that flying saucer, it doesn't PROVE he made that video.

How many people do you think had time to make videos inside his apartment? Do you know much about the man? If so then you can easily tell me how often he lets strangers make videos in his apartment, with his stuff, to make him look like a fraud.

And besides he even demonstrates the string and reasoning behind it in this video video.google.co.uk...#
All and all that video PROVES nothing

[edit on 1-4-2010 by MacATK18]

Make up your mind. Why would he explain the string if it were not one of his videos?

here is a more recent documentary, done by LightworksAV, which shows Mr. Hutchison in his new and smaller apartment, conducting a small scale translational levitation effect on items of various materials.

this is a 2 part documentary, and the 2nd part coveres his free energy batteries that large Asian corporations are helping him to develop.

The Hutchison Effect & Free Energy - LightworksAV Documentary (Part 1 of 2):

You should really try some originality and stop spamming the web.

Seriously, man. You are obviously a spammer just pushing this fraud for less than respectable reasons.

I am not a spammer, I am an activist. I post this information all over the web because it is extremely important in my scientific opinion.

No need to criticize me.

That is what a spammer does. That is what spamming is. Your intentions mean nothing. Spamming is posting the same crap all over the place. If you have something important to say, you say it in one place and get people to go there and find it. What you are doing is copying and pasting the exact same posts on several different forums. That is what spamming is. Sorry if you feel your intentions override the meaning of the word but it is just not so.

No need to criticize me.

Not criticizing at all. I am just calling it what it is. You are no different than viagra "pharmacies" on the web. Sorry if it hurts to hear it but if you plan to promote a fraud in a manner such as spam, then get used to being upset.

Cheers,

-Abe

Cheers to you. Sounds like you are at least educated enough to make your own blog, website, or youtube channel as a consolidated repository for these things you repeat and there is really no need to waste your time going from forum to forum signing in and hitting ctrl-v.

People should really be forced to include a brief account of the video they wish to link. No one including myself wishes to watch a video for 80 minutes, just to understand what a video is about because the OP chose not to include it into his topic. Please do something about this mods, it's becoming increasingly annoying.

I'm right with you on this!

A quick search on john you will find his myspace, yahoo, blog, ect. All of which are amateurish, and have the same ultimate goal: to get some tail.

John's all about the girls. I live in the same city as him, and I see him posting ads on craigslist all the time looking for a 'hot girl'.

This story did at first intrigue me because he lives in my city, but I soon got pissed off at this fraud.

Simple magnetic forces along with a camera rotation box, like from the movies (friday the 13th).

Also, I think all the old electronics he has collected have fried his brain.

That is pretty funny. I have not paid enough attention to the MAN HIMSELF to know what a girl hound he was but now that you mention it, some things he has said make more sense.

So the many who made the greatest discovery of the last century trolls craig's list for chicks. That is funny.

I was perusing the site for the studio putting that video out. They sell a lot of cool books. I really would enjoy going through them all but it does seem slightly less than genuine. One that I found was a review of a book on Mars claiming to build on the previously released PROOF of manufactured structures on Mars. I guess I missed that.

It's well known that Hutchison enjoys a joke.
Do not let this detract from the fact that his work has shown some startling results.

Where are these results? I want to see!!!!!!

All I ever see are his crappy parlor trick youtube videos. Why is he hiding the good stuff and how did you get to see it?

I couldnt read the whole thread to be honest. String.. trickery.. then you showed the frog which is proven possible in science with a powerful enough magnet.

Tesla was a god among men when it comes to science, perhaps go by him and just... drop Ol'Hutch. It'd add a lot of credibility to this thread to accept his hoax as such

Tim Ventura here, from www.americanantigravity.com... - I know John Hutchison pretty well, have visited his apartment in New Westminster BC, and interviewed him several times.

I've gone on the record several times as stating that Hutchison is FOR REAL, and the Hutchison Effect is everything that it's said (and probably a lot more).

Let me refer you to a couple of Photo galleries: in this first one, I have 70 high-res photos of brass, copper, and aluminum samples that have been turned to jelly with the Hutchison Effect (link below). picasaweb.google.com...

I've studied these samples and found no evidence of tampering, heat-treatment, or anything else fishy - and I did notice that the grain of the metals has been changed from exposure to the effect (at room temperature). Dr. George Hathaway did a spectrographic-analysis on several of these samples, and I have photos of his results online at well:
picasaweb.google.com...

Also, back in 2005 I took a number of colleagues on a trip to his lab (including scientists, engineers, and a couple of enthusiasts), and we documented the entire visit:
picasaweb.google.com...

In my opinion, John's work has "fallen through the cracks" because nobody's quite sure what to do with it and the government is worried about working with him to turn into a circus event. In other words, he's very public and nobody wants the possible negative exposure if they can't reproduce the effect.

How does it work? I believe that part of the effect involves using dynamic excitation of valence electrons in the atoms of these metals to temporarily change their chemical properties. Valence (outermost) electrons determine how atoms stick together into molecules, right? Use radio-frequencies to excite those electrons, and all of a sudden you have completely different chemical properties for the material - and the clincher is that when the field is turned off, the molecular structure is all screwed up, which all of his samples seem to exhibit.

I can't explain the Antigravity effect, but I believe that it's a Unified Field Theory effect of some kind, and I personally think the effect is similar to the Nazi-Bell & the Philadelphia Experiment (although by coincidence - John himself has no relationship to either of those projects).

Thanks;

Tim Ventura

John Hutchinson has got to be real as he has been around for longer than 30 years.
He has prolly suffered the same fate as Tesla.
Although without going into the nitty gritty of it, it would be interesting to know if the materials effected were limited to valance electrons or was there any signs of transmutation of elements even if on a small scale..
On another note john has gone on record saying that american military has gotten hold of his technology

You mean you never saw the barium tube moving around, while being filmed from all sides by a reporter?
The depositions from people who have examined the 'melted wood' & other artifacts? That Hutchison himself cannot fully explain the molecular changes, he noted (as others did) that these materials changed or decayed in time, showing that the altered structures were unstable? He also admits the experiments are difficult to recreate given the multiple frequencies used, and that the effects were influenced by weather conditions, on wet days he found it almost impossible to get significant results, or at certain times of the day. This does not sound like a faker. A faker could reproduce his 'effect' on demand day or night. Real science however, is not always so obliging.....

I always get a laugh about threads like these. Every now and then, someone comes and posts 'Hutchison effect is real!'...well, were is the proof? for 30 years of experimentation, he was absolutely zero proof. Videos and photos don't count, we want independent verification of experiments in a controlled setting.

If he did feature on the discovery channel, then it is proof in itself.
Would be interesting to know, if any prominent research lab approached
him over the years offering to perform and independent verification.
The reputed research labs the likes of las alamos, mit or u of cambridge
among others are notorius in not replying to any researchers although the
doe does feature an automated reply .

the facts are simple: John is not a scientist, he's an ACTOR!

Even if what he's doing is not fake, IMO every last thing he does IS a fake, but even if it were something amazing then it's still useless. John has done no science. All he's done is collect old, run down, war equipment, shove as much of it as he could into an apartment and then made a show out of his life... like many other ACTORS in the past. There is no science here, just entertainment.

You do have a point there. As in one of his videoes, he is pointing to
some melted metal link and then he picks up some metal dust from it
and says it is unknown metal. I always wondered about that since analysis
of metal or metal dust can easily be done at any ndt lab at very little expense
