Why is this even being talked about ??

The thread is about how Procedure on Investigating Fires was NOT FOLLOWED

regarding 911.

It is on topic Sean. The firefighters that were there have not come out against the investigation into to fires/collapses. etc.

Some truther in Seattle started a group that is essentially the same as all the other: ______ For 911 Truth.com groups.... they scream conspiracy without any conspiracy.

in Dallas, where ever.

Yep. John Schroeder, FDNY and Craig Bartmer, NYPD for starters. Their testimony is very clear.

about the flashes that were seen, did all three buiding exhibit these same flashes, I thought this pertained mostly to building 2 and not the others.

Just a word of advice here.

Posting a perfectly good post and then inserting a snide little insulting comment at the end, just to "get one in" is NOT going to fly people.

From the First Responder Oral Histories, several firefighters have testified to the flashes in both towers in the lower and middle levels while the buildings were collapsing way up high. I'm not aware of any witnesses or first responders reporting flashes at WTC7.

thanks for the reply, just wasn't too sure on if their were or not any for the other buildings going by what firemen or witnesses reported.

Actually, an investigation was performed. During this investigation they found a multitude of issues that have been taken care of due to new regulations that have actually been implemented in the building of the new WTC 7 in downtown NY.

For this investigation, they had 58 people on the technical staff, 12 Fire and architectural experts, 45 people from the Department of Commerce, 11 Orgnaizations including law firms, architectural design houses and US Commissions. They also spoke to 6 members of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the US, someone from the NYCDDC, the NYC law department, the NYPD, the FDNY, the Port Authority. THere are also 3 members who have earned the Nobel Prize who were on this board.

During this investigation, the evaluation of the buildings evacuation procedures and Emergency response procedures were looked at to ensure that if this was to ever occur again people, such as those with wheelchairs, would be able to evacuate a skyscraper. This is familiarized in the case of the woman in the WTC who was carried by helpful by standers.

At the end of this report, 13 recommendations were created to increase structural integrity, enhance fire endurance of structures and better rescue procedures. It was in 2002 that the US congress appointedannounced a 'BUilding and Fire Safety Investigation.

This means your statement of

is actually quite false. There was a large, very long investigation that led to changes in the way buildings are forever constructed.

As far as all of the evidence being destroyed, there are still tons of steel not only in its final resting place in NY but also do a quick search on the net and you will find that there are tons more rusting in a field after someone bought it to build with and left it there.

The investigation that has been finalized also had access to everything for the investigation so would they not have found something if it was something other than the planes and ensuing fires/damage that bought down the towers on 9/11?

So, how important was it for the teams assigned to investigate the fire & collapse of the WTC buildings on 9/11 to do an exceptional investigation?

Unless I have specifically told you what my beliefs, suspicions, thoughts, knowledge, and fantasies are, you simply have no idea so I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't speculate. You may end up insulting me by inadvertently spreading lies about me as you just have. Understood?

If you would like to read a thorough investigation, download and read the ENTIRE report from NIST. Do not cherry pick from websites but read the whole thing. They addressed everything.

The NEW WTC 7 (thats right! Silverstein rebuilt the building!) opened in
2005 was one of the first to implement the new construction standard

Stairways and elevator shafts will not longer be lined with sheetrock as
was in WTC - Too easily dislodged or penetrated by debris blocking the
shaft and exposing it to fire and smoke

Based on recommendations of the New York City Mayoral Commission, the measure bans the use of open-web steel joists for structures more than 75 ft. tall because fire-proofing used to protect these floor-framing systems is inadequate. The law effectively eliminates one of two steel floor systems that compete with concrete. Additionally, new buildings will have to comply with blast-resistant construction requirements. According to Portland Cement Association's regional structural engineer Mike Mota, who also serves on the Mayoral Commission that recommended the changes, that provision will force more steel buildings to rely on concrete shear walls and cores, making composite steel-concrete buildings more competitive.

From the foundation through the first 80 ft., the structure is 100 percent cast-in-place reinforced concrete. Above, the structure consists of a cast-in-place concrete core and steel framing around the perimeter.

Another driving force was safety. The owner wanted to go beyond the minimum building code requirements and create perhaps the safest building of its size from the standpoint of fire and terrorist hazards. The building's core consists of concrete shear walls as thick as 2 ft. 3 in., which surround the elevator shafts, stairways and transfer corridors. The walls will help to mitigate potential damage and injury in the event of an explosion. The robust shell enclosing the stairs also will help keep fire exits open in an evacuation.

One of my friends is elevator mechanic - his company is scheduled to install elevators in Freedom Tower starting this fall.

Elevator shafts are lined with 2 ft thick high strenght (16,000 psi) concrete

There is no more "Freedom Tower". It's name has been changed to "One World Trade Center".

Thanks for the link but I've heard the full report is 10,000 pages long. The linked report is only about 110 pages long. What is with the discrepancy?
