High-Five to you!!!!

As I was telling Tiger5,

they are only here to disorganize and disrupt...They cannot relate to this conversation and I never figured out why they felt I was asking them my original topic question?

It is in their DNA to disrupt a group of us, for fear of plotting or revolt

yes, its in my dna, to worry soooo much about how ignorant you can be.

i was trying to help you through your obvious problems, yet you will never be a decent human who can not see color.

your hate has penetrated so deep, that its pointless.

we are not your enemies. why are you choosing to be ours?

Tiger5, thank you for being one of the more SANE minds on here

As you see, they have (once again) tried to disrupt and keep us unfocused when we try to get together to discuss some of our history....we can learn about their history all year and when we get offered ONE MONTH out of TWELVE to do so we are expected to shut up and be happy 'now that they have civilized us heathens'

To the angry caucasians who are trying to disprupt MY thread....

I WAS NOT ADDRESSING YOU OR YOUR OPINIONS with this thread in the first place....

Why do 'they' always feel the need to interfer and cause confusion when we try to get on one accord about something????

I guess some things'll never change

Because you are uttering pure nonsense and gibberish at best. Need I quote you again and again?

Original article:

The Invisibility of The Black Atheist
It can be argued that in most African American communities it is more acceptable to be a criminal who believes in God and goes to church on Sunday while selling drugs to kids all week than to be an atheist who has a good job, a good education, who contributes to society and supports his family. In these communities you find more tolerance towards gangbangers, drug addicts, and prostitutes, who pray to God for forgiveness than for honest productive citizens who deny the existence of God. This, for me, is one of the most embarrassing elements of Black culture, our zealous embracement of the God of our kidnappers, murderers, slavemasters and oppressors.

Compares and contrasts black communities that worship God vs Atheist blacks. Which was pretty cool for me, but than...

I am a black African-American woman who identifies with the author. I left religion a few years ago. It seems insane, even sad to know that most blacks tend to embrace the 'white' Christ/God more than the white slave masters did themselves. I know that in the time of slavery, they used shackels, guns, and whips.....

Why does it matter if it is the white, yellow, orange or blur God? You aren't partaking in history or heritage, but you are calling out all white people. IMO you made the mistake of calling all the white people out and the Christians. If you made a mistake you apologize, but it seems like you did it on purpose.

You also go on to talk about Africans returning to worship their true gods, the anunaki. If you're and Atheist, why do you believe the anunaki are the true gods?

I am trying to contribute to your post, but your post smells of racism and hate for the white man.

But the messengers were sent by the messenger. The message comes from witnesses via Christ via God.

The Bible warns against those who will say they speak the word of God when they don't and against false prophets. There are many people out there who claim they are Christian, say they are doing God's work, yet aren't. And this is my issue with organized religion. Hypocrisy is rampant, people claim they are Christian, but their actions show otherwise.

I know that Christianity has been tarnished at times, and used by evil people at times, but it's message is universal and timeless. That true love is sacrifice. That giving is more important than receiving. That denial of self is best.

The message itself is a good one and one I have no problem with, non-believer that I am.

That sin, through free-will, has separated us from Him, (think intentionally muddy feet on a new white carpet), and that a door, or portal was made available for mankind to escape judgment and be reconciled to their creator again....and that it is a test of each person in their ability to slay their own pride, and accept a free gift of salvation, by admitting that they are not capable on their own of obtaining a level of sanctification and holiness to ascend to a higher plane.

This is another issue I have with Christianity. The idea that we're all born sinners because of someone eating fruit millenia ago. I didn't eat that fruit and will not bare the responsibility for someone else's actions. By accepting that guilt I would be giving up my free will. From the moment of accepting someone else's guilt, it wouldn't matter if I never committed a single sin in my entire life I'd still be a sinner and tainted by something I never had any control of. That just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

To me that makes about as much sense as someone coming up to me and saying, "Hey, your great-great-great-great-grandma stole a Coke from a gas station and you're going to jail for it. But Billy over here already served your time for you. All you have to do to stay out of jail is acknowledge his dad Joe as your lord, and by lord I mean the feudal kind." Who would agree to that?

hey i just wanted to add this

i lived with some anti semetic satanists for a while, and i'm not saying that all satanists are anti semetic, but on the west coast of oregon it's not hard to find a satanist who is (where i was living at least) again though, there is no relation to being antisemetic and also being satanic, but it is a growing popular subtrend in the younger and more racist satanic community, you might have different experiences

with that said, i alwyas thought it was funny how they talked so bad about jews and then when it came time to be satanic they adorned their walls with flags of the sigil of baphomet

again, when i say 'they' i mean, the people i lived with and their friends and aquaintances that also held antisemetic and satanic beleifs alike

anyways if you look at the sigil of baphomet it has jewish writing on it, and satan himself was a jewish creation anyway!

I think the problem is that there is a high level of suspicion on both sides of the racial chasm. We are now in the time of the white collar racism whereby everyone denounces the skinhead but seem oblivious to the quiet racism that happens in the places of work.

The situation is exacerbated by a level of segregation that is greater than slavery.

ACTUALLY, initially a heathen was anyone who wasn't a catholic, this included the heathens of europe, iceland, greenland, africa, australia, south america, north america, central america, canada, russia, and the eastern religion countries. so it's not a white vs. black issue, and it never has been. heathen = non-catholic religions of various kinds.

judaism and christianity are both intimately connected and entwined into ancient egyptian culture, which if you study it (see the 4 races of the world painting in seti I's tomb in valley of the kings), appears to be composed of people from all over the world, as well.

here's the painting

Thats true, as said in the Bibile also.

I never seen any "other" helping us recover our hidden history, they only defend theirs.

if by racism in the workplace you mean equal opportunity employers then yes i agree.

just because you dont have enough black people working for your company, you cant hire another white person who is completely qualified for the job, based on his color alone.

and i think our segregation is merely ignorance. as soon as people realize we are actually all the same, then nothing good can ever come.

everyone is so bent on grudges, and lash out at any who fit the bill, but if this didnt happen, you could see that we truly can be friends.

i never had any walls, but there are many that still need to come down.

this is what i posted, but i know you didnt read, as i wasnt invited...

my families past and present has never done anything to your people. EVER. if you can prove that any of these things happened to your family, rather than being an immigrant like the rest of us, then fine you get to say your family was brought here as a slave, but that still doesnt bring automatic sympathy to you.

i think that the church has done lots for the black community. its a source of good that brings people together, and these people are usually very happy with their choices of belonging to a church.

i lived in savannah ga for 6 years and i know first hand what living in a society of 80% blacks is like. some of my greatest friends, have been people straight from the ghettos of savannah. i never judged them, for their life choices, or if i did, i said it to them with brotherly love so that maybe someone can see that its not anyone else's fault for you being held down. i never tried to act like them, and they sure werent going to act like me, but its about how we coexist.

its your own fault for allowing people to hold you down.

being a white male, it may seem like sunshine and rainbows for me everyday. i have a decent vehicle, an alright job, and i go home to my beautiful girlfriend everyday. my dog jumps up to me when i get home.

no one gave me this, however, and i had to fight tooth and nail to get anywhere. you think me sitting around feeling sorry for myself got me anything? no it will never do that.

so instead of fighting your own people over your religious views (or lack thereof), why dont you see the great it has done for the black community.

it may have a white man posted up as jesus, but it could be any color and still be a great message for all.

Well the physical segregation of housing outside of the big cities is a problem IMHO also It further concentrates people so black Atheists may get trapped in the same place as the churchgoing masses (black).

Me I am happpy to live places where people can just leave me alone.. I don't need the approval of blacks or white.

I think that too much reliance is placed on equal opportunity quotas in the working place because most businmess are small. Legislation should never replace hearts and minds.. The black community is coming of age in a way that it is fragmenting. I do not believe that white people are a homologous group neither.. The OP does speak indirectly of white supremacy. I am not saying you are a white supremacist but i bet that you know of a few. I know many idiotic Pan Afrikanists.

PS Sorry for using the "T" word. My Bad. I just got angry

Just remember to be more open minded BUTTERCOOKIE THATS ALL it make one more powerfull to acknowledge we are all the same instead of different for being different may have one all alone. My intententions were to derail your thread after I seen all the hate beginning to flow within it. I see all man as the same all man have enslaved killed and controlled so all man are sinners as well as imperfect. I wish you the best in your journey to find the answers you seek and pray for you to think on a more openminded way you possess energy but if angled wrong can become a negative weight upon your soul GOD BLESS YOU AND GOOD LUCK
