Ultimately questions of how does one identify others as such leads to setting limits for them. Humans need to simplify things to prioritize things, The best thing is to treat all others with different cultures and perception the same, ie outsiders and potential subversives, not assume friendship simply because of claims of vague obligation and tenuous affiliation, especially when the relationship holds no real benefit for the host.
My point would be not give anyone an automatic break, provide limits and evaluation periodically to see if things are going properly and clear limits that act as tripwires to alert when boundaries are broken and allow a proper firm response. I would be as worried for isreal if a baptist somehow got to be influencial in their govt and media as I would be for, well, the way they are here now.

Excellent point red. It was a great compliment to my post because it went into explaining why that post was wrong on so many levels rather than just pointing out that it is wrong, which is what I did.

I will admonish people who come into this thread and begin spouting hate, whether for or against the state of Israel.
And even the most innocuous attempt at humor can spark raging hatred.

I do not claim to be Christian, Jew, or Muslim, but I make it a point to familiarize myself with their respective "holy books" because it gives one insight into the nature of the conflict.

Once again, excellent point that I hope the previous gentleman ruminates upon, leading to a new understanding regarding this unbelievably horrific conflict that is killing the civilized world.

Youre not the only one. Maybe there should be an new axis in the dsm, where there is the sense of entitlement, even obligation, to expound and critisize and express a a noncontributory opinion without having requisit knowledge or understanding the point of the discussion at hand.

It's Axis II Narcissistic Personality Disorder, but, in my opinion, the problem with the supporters of the policies of Israel is that they have co-morbid Borderline Personality Disorder.

You dont need a ct , mri or pet scan, the answer is as simple as it is obvious. Zionists are simply club members that want a physical home, and they want the one they lost and for their own reasons. I am not against a homeland for the Jews, but what I oppose are the actions taken by those who wish to create this homeland.
