Porn is addictive and not easy to get out of your life.

It is no more addictive than soap operas, bible verses or strenuous exercise M.

You realities if it wasn't for centuries of sexual repression by Christianity we would probably not have porn as we know it today.

What you say is true, they act like toddlers and this is definitely not the way to send any kind of message. They give Atheists a bad name / reputation. Its sad.

But if there was any "Why can't they just let us believe in God in peace" argument going on, its because Religion keeps leading us to conflict...over and over.

What kind of college would allow them to do that? People today are so out of wack it is scary. You can't even have your own beliefs without some wack job in your ear.

Many atheists don't act like this. I dislike religion but if you want to believe in it then fine. However i also like to discuss religion, simply because it interests me, so why should i not talk about it? As for atheism being a religion, well atheism is a lack of belief, each atheist makes up their own morals and ways of living so i'm afraid it cannot be classed as a religion.

I don't push my beliefs on people, i just wait for a religious person to say something and then i debate it. If a religious person does not bring up their beliefs then i won't bring up mine. What you see as pushing or attacking is usually a response. Remember that atheists ahve been villified for years, even killed and even today they are seen as bad in countries like the USA. Now they are able to voice their beliefs and i think it's such a new experience that everyone is coming out and declaring their lack of belief, just like gay people came out in the 80's/90's.

Atheists don't believe in nothing, it's odd you would say such a thing. I believe many things, they just tend to be beliefs that are based on facts. However the reason atheists care is because we are responding to religion taking a hold of education, damaging science by filling the minds of kids with rubbish about creationism for example, or hey what about abstinence programs! These are usually based in religion. How about the hundreds of thousands of people in Africa, dying from HIV and AIDS because the pope says condoms are wrong? This is why atheists are outspoken.

Grow up already!

Being grown up includes the discussion of important ideas and that is all that is happening. Why do you feel so threatened by atheists? If you want to believe in god then great, go for it, i have no issue with you. I do however have major issues with creationism, i have huge throbbing issues with condoms being banned by religion, i have headache causing problems when religious people tell me that they want to be left to believe what they want, can't understand why atheists are angry and then walk up to my door, knock loudly and ask me if i have found Jesus yet.

As for getting attention, well why not? The religious get attention all the time, why are you so upset that atheists get a bit of news time?

Do you think these people didn't know the craziness this would cause? They knew exactly what they were doing. And the publicity it is getting and all of the angry people is exactly what they were anticipating. They threw this bait in the water and now they are getting a lot of bites.

Guaranteed if this were ignored, they would be wondering what happened? It's like grade school. Sometimes you want to push peoples buttons...just because you can.

It amazes me how much feedback this has gotten compared to some of my other... less comical posts.

The warning lable on the Bible above is awesome (star for that). I have a Bible thumper that visits my house once a week and can't wait to show it to him.
