Time of day that 2012 event will likely occur.

I had to comment on this topic! I was shocked when I read the supposed 11:11 or 9:11 initiation time for whatever 2012 will bring (If anything at all). For the past 18 months I have had something strange happen to myself and a few people I know. Every day I look at the clock, no matter where I am, I look at it when the time is exactly 11:11 and 9:11 - in the morning, and the same again at night, without fail. I have no explanation for it. I'm not sure if it's my subconscious or body-clock telling me to look at the clock at that exact time or something deeper. I've tried researching the subject but nothing really gives me the answer I'm looking for. I'm not doing anything significant when it happens, I could be doing anything, from making something to eat to walking past a microwave in a store displaying the time. When I mentioned this to a friend of mine, he explained to me that this exact thing happens to him also. Very strange.

Anybody else have this happen to them?

From what I have read of the Mayans, there is no exact date, time or specific event that will occur.

The date (12/21/2012) has been lifted from their calendar and used as the center point of transition. The stories around this period speak of gradual ascension for man and mother earth. The planet will shift and shimmy around a bit causing some disasters, but none great enough to wipe us out. These disasters or earthly shifts (eq's etc.)will steadily increase leading to 2012 and slowly wane after 2012.

Our spirits will awaken a little more as time passes through this period, we will become more in tune with the galaxy, earth, ourselves and each other.

Speaking from a human standpoint, disasters generally bring people closer together, they push us to be more loving of our fellow man in times of crisis. If the Mayans somehow figured out that the earth would face changes/shifts causing an increase in EQ's etc. then it is not a stretch to suggest that man would reach higher enlightenment facing such things.

So the time of the alignment would be at 11:11.11pm Central Time, -6:00 GMT, or near their midnight.

The alignment happens only once so, because of time zones, the alignment will occur at a different time in each zone. So, the time of alignment can be determined by which time zone a person lives. I live in the Eastern Time Zone, -5:00 GMT, so here the alignment will happen at 10:11.11pm on December 21, 2012.

But who knows, it all depends upon the starting date of the long count calendar being correct. If the starting date was wrong then the time of the galactic alignment will be wrong too. We will have to wait and see.

The exact time will be one second before midnight. Then the event will begin with a strange and erie sound. The sound will grow into a low moan and build up rapidly until it crescendos as a loud wail of despair. It will mark the exact moment that millions of gullible fools around the globe realize that nothing is going to happen and that they bought into a pant load of nonsense, hook, line, and sinker.

In the background, you will also hear millions of people rolling around laughing.

It will be a joyous day indeed. I am already planning a party to celebrate.
