Is there any significance of this heavenly body appearing in this time?

I think you're mistaking the "heavenly body" as a direct definition of God/Jesus. But it's not, has nothing to do w/ either.. The Moon is a heavenly body.. Earth is a heavenly body.. get it?

No, No, i do get it. But the context in which the question is being asked is a religious one.

Therefore, we are talking about God, and by the OP's own words, we are talking about the question of "end days"

....get it?

I'm not saying that the heavenly body is anything - the OP is asking "is it a sword"

I'm saying --- NO its not.

I find that this belief structure most closely fits my own (at least amongst the established structures), although not perfectly.

If you have not heard of it, might be worth checking out.

Although I almost feel dirty by associating myself with a defined belief system; it is NOT a religion, and therefor rather benign.

But doesnt that prove its all BS? He didnt make TWO lights did he? the moon isnt a light? its a rock. Just a rock. Or is the fact that the part total nonsense just ignored? Sorry, dont wish to knock anyones beliefs, but as what i consider a rational guy, i cant get my head round how people can believe in the bible or in any organised religion when most of whats written is total nonsense????

Mmmmmm, yes and no to your reply. I certainly do not take the bible in the traditional literal sense. I can't. Sorry.

However, if you're going to totally disregard any form of religion or spiritual belief, which I am assuming you might, to me, that makes for a pretty sad existence. However each to their own.

Anyway, in regards to stars and what they were placed in the heavens for, if you're going to use the bible, there is more than one reference.

Here is another reference:

Thanks for the measured answer, however the quotes from the bible you provided make no more sense than the original quote about him creating 2 lights.

i honestly dont want to knock your beliefs, i just want to understand them more. Why do you think its sad if i have no spiritual belief? To me i feel better knowing that my destiny and fate is in my hands. If it goes tits up then i have friends and family for support. But they are tangible. I can hug my friends, i can cry on their shoulder, i can borrow 20 quid off them for beer. You cant do that with faith, so how does it comfort you?

Please dont think im being funny with you. My life is totally in a mess, i have so much REALLY bad stuff going on at the moment that i seriously contemplated swinging from a rope at the weekend (past that now i hope) but i cant see how any spiritual belief would make a difference? Only my own strength and the support of friends kept me going. I cant see how believing in something i cant see, touch, taste, smell, hear etc would help? In my mind i might as well worship unicorns or dragons as they have the same evidence for existence. And if there was a God, why would he pile so much stress hassle and crap on my shoulders? Why not test one of his faithful rather than a non believer?

Thats not me being facetious, just honest and open. I would welcome your response as to how being more spiritual would and could help me
