You cannot bomb the whole Pacific Ocean. The force of a nuclear bomb would
not be enough to halt the expanding ripples under water. It would cause more
destruction than good.
The concentric rings of the shock, like those of a stone thrown into water,
travel at a plane´s speed, exhausting themselves over distance, but becoming
broader and broader.

Be worth a try though. In a end of world scenario i mean, with nothing to lose.

The waiting is awful. But maybe nothing is going to happen? Gives the people who decided to go to wal-mart instead of higher ground time to get out.

They've just mentioned on the webcams that the tsunami could be around an hour later than they first expected.

I think they can only do guesswork on something like that. Your talking so many variables, you can't expect it with any degree of accuracy. Which is why they should say between 4-5:30 instead of 4:00 as if it was fact.

The problem is determining when a tsunami could hit is a "guesstimate game"..

IF a tsunami hits, it could be hours after they initially expect it or call for it to hit.

I just hope the people on the islands or in the path of the potential phenomenon do not get complacent just because nothing happens at the time they were told to expect something.

Wow.. long beach California.. water has receded to the point where boats can not even dock.. that is crazy.

The water level in the stream you posted has substantially receded... do know where that cam is located in Hawaii?

That is what I am saying. To say it with some certainty when there isn't any could potentially be a problem.

Yeah, you actually see the levels drop then rise back up pretty regularly from that view.

They just mentioned on Fox news that a small island has disappeared around Hilo, trying to find more information on that statement.
