Just thought I would bring this up. Anyone remember dark knights post? or whatever his name was? It was a long time ago. Supposedly he went into hiding because of some sort of inside information about coming world events. He said something about when you see weird things happening in the sky thats when you know its starting.

I could absolutely understand earthquake sounds. I mean all that kinetic energy and pressure. There is bound to be an audible sound emanating from the source. I would assume it would be more prevalent in activity closer to the earths surface.

Side note. When i was a child my great grandmother thought she saw a ghost in her house. It was a green ball that crashed into her wall and started a fire. Today ball lightning makes much more sense. Its amazing what people can discern the "unknown" as before it is actually a "known" occurrence. Earth lights are definitely interesting.

Same thing happened with Lightening sprites (basically reverse lightening into the upper atmosphere high altitude pilots have been observing for years)

Also why would tectonic stress not create earthquake lights ( i mean we have rock/metals/crystals and lots of friction in a explosive force)
Volcanoes can create lighting when they erupt. That is a byproduct of the event.

Yes Sam_inc. this is what I was referring to. Thank you for finding it and posting. I am going to reread it for a refresher but I have had his posts and thread in the back of my mind for quite some time now. I do not post regularly on this site and I have mentioned this many times before ( when I do actually post) Yet I need to agree with a few other people on here who have stated the fact that things lately are beginning to seem eerie. I have not been able to sleep for the past few days as someone else has mentioned. I also had a very strange dream last night about an earthquake..this never really happens to me. I also had a strange feeling yesterday which most likely is not related, but it concerned a very quick change in weather from normal semi cloudy day to a downpour of rain so heavy that I felt like I was going to crash on the way home. just strange feelings all around lately for yours truly

I know this will sound crazy to some of you, but earth quakes have been happening for millions of years and lights have been reported happening, either slightly before or during the quake for a long time.

Not every geophysical event is a HARRP conspiracy.

The earth is negative, or, ground.
When lightening strikes, it is actually the earth, or, ground doing the "striking". Positively charged ions have lost electrons, normally they are in balance, and thus the negative ions have what the positive ions have lost, and they dramatically correct themselves.
So to speak.

The spark jumps from "negative" to "positive".
The earth, or ground, or negative, is not actually "negative" meaning "devoid" of. It is more, the antagonist.
It interacts with the Sun.
It is very possible, in my mind, that the earth can release more subtle "corrections", as a response to a break or disturbance in the earths magnetic field that can occur during, or perhaps even before, an earthquake.
So subtle, that unless conditions are just right, you may not be able to visually pick it up.
Like a rainbow. You have to have the right conditions, and you have to be viewing from the right angle.

Very interesting. A poster called Hidden_Hand also predicted these things. He is, however, a year off. I believe he said that San Francisco and NY would be submerged. Let's hope he's off there too.

Well, there's that HAARP thing, I personally don't subscribe to this, or it could be CME, also not into this. Perhaps it is somehow caused by the tectonic slip itself. I just don't know.
