Lil' Wayne is great. Weezy, Jayz, and Eminem (no particular order) are at the top of the rap game and will stay there. He consistently releases more music than any other artist per year. He gives most of it away to his fans for free via mixtapes and downloadable material, granted not all of it is good.

He owns the top selling rap label out right now and is the funniest rapper of all time. So, don't hate just because you don't understand rap, this is just ignorance.

I can't wait to see what you people can come up with the Drop the World video.

I do understand rap. As i understand all other types of music. I'm not hatin im exposin. I use to listen to all these artists when i was in high school. It influenced the way I acted, dressed, and thought. But thank God I was awoken from that crazy #, and was shown the truth about many celebrities. What do you think about this by eminem? The song is called "Say Goodbye Hollywood"

"But no one ever puts a grasp on the fact i've sacrificed everything I have
I never dreamt i'd get to the level that i'm at, this is whack
This is more than I ever could of asked
everywhere I go, a hat, a sweater hood, or mask
What about math, how come I wasn't ever good at that
It's like the boy in the bubble, who never could adapt, i'm trapped
If I could go back, I never woulda rapped
I sold my soul to the devil, i'll never get it back
I just wanna leave this game with level head intact"...

You may understand rap, but if you don't understand that last verse you quoted then you don't understand rappers.

There is a huge difference... Em is talking about down side of fame definitely... everyone who sells out to industry will eventually feel as if they have sacrificed their inner selves due to their own greed and desires... that's "selling your soul to the devil"... He exposed his entire personal life to the world, it impacted his relationships, etc...

Did you even read my post a few pages back?

Here's another one of my own personal rhymes on the same subject:

Don't let the stars get in your eyes man
You'll go blind
If you spend too much time up in that lime
You'll believe your own lies, and you won't realize
you're really hurting inside, everytime you get high
but the fans sympathize, they've come along for the ride
With the CD's they buy, your ticket sales are high
Still you can't bring yourself to look your fans in the eye
cuz way down deep inside, you think you're living a lie
