N. Korea Threatens 'Powerful' Attack Over U.S. Drills

www.foxnews.com

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea threatened a "powerful" attack if the U.S. and South Korea proceed with joint military drills next month, warning Thursday that it could even resort to nuclear means.

If its not Iran its North Korea acting up. It seems that there will be some type of war this year, if its Iran, North Korea, or both who knows. Does everyone else feel the same way I do that there is going to be a large war this year? I wish this wasn't the case but the way things look it just keeps getting worse.

don't you mean, another, war? It's times like these that I start to revisit the isolationist ideals. We don't need to poke any more badgers with sharp sticks. Eventually, you will get bitten.

And this is why we shouldn't let shady countries get nuclear weapons.

Did anybody catch this part of the article?

South Korea and the U.S., which maintains 28,500 troops in South Korea, plan to conduct annual military exercises starting March 8.

This is an annual military exercise. This is nothing new, South Korea and the US do this every year. Standing army's train; that's just how these things work.

This is from an article that was written last year.

SEOUL, March 9 (Xinhua) -- South Korea and the United States kicked off their annual joint military exercises on Monday despite strong oppositions by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

While people point at the lead up to the Iraq war and say it's the same thing that's happening to Iran, I point at North Korea.

All the talk about Iran getting a Nuke when North Korea already has them is amazing. Shouldn't we be more concerned with North Korea threatening to use their Nukes if the US and South Korea have training exercises? This is a serious threat, even though it is probably more saber-rattling from North Korea. It is still serious to say that you might even use your Nukes.

There will be a huge war but I'm afraid to put a timeline on it, although I do feel like it might happen within the next couple of years. It all depends on what the psycho's do in North Korea or in Iran.

The US can't afford another war. It would go ahead and financially collapse our country. We should bring our troops home and let them fight it out, seal our borders and take care of our own people.........

This is getting absolutely ridiculous. We need to start shutting North Korea up. Whether they are serious or not they need to quit these stupid silly threats and be reminded just how insignificant they really are. Why we have not done anything is beyond me. As usual US government incompetence at REAL THREATS.

I have been so confused about the Worlds Drama lately that I truly do not
know what to think anymore right now.

When I hear more and more stuff like this it just tells me that something or
someone is about to pop off! We can argue all day that we hear this all the
time from North Korea every time the U.S. plans a drill with the South.

Something, and I do not know, nor will I pretend to know, is about to happen.

Sad fact is, evil begets evil...

As long as there's psychopathic militants out there making threats, human nature will want to respond/retaliate in kind, and it never ends!

Diplomacy is on its deathbed, especially as more and more nations become financially desperate too..

Yes, something is right around the corner. That something , is NOTHING. Certainly in regards to this article. The same horns get blown every damned year, and they mean nothing absolutely nothing. North Korea can have thier nukes. The fact is that they , and we know, that there is nothing that can out run or outmanouvre the airbourne lazer tech that the US gov can bring to bare against missile tech, therefore there is nothing to worry about , even IF the North Koreans launch thier rockets.

How much war will the US do in a time like this?

Seems Kim needs some attention again. With all this talk about Iran lately , NK was pushed outside the spotlight . He feels as if no one cares about his nuclear program anymore so he comes out with yet another threat.

I call dibs on N.K next threat : Light Speed Ion Cannons . This nuclear thing has gotten old !

Like a petulant little toddler! Just screaming for attention..

I mean, yeah NK has the world's largest standing army, beaten into line with ruthless discipline, but with a crumbling infrastructure, malnutrition for all but the upper echelons (paradox in a 'communist' country, but always happens), how many of them will actually be able for fight if anything did kick-off?

Smoke and mirrors once again from lil Kimmy..

I'm sorry but where in the article does it actually state America is threatening war against North Korea? I think you will find it is actually the north Koreans who are threatening the south just because of some military exercises which are carried out annually to keep forces in a good shape.

Honestly sometimes i am astounded by the way some posters will literally attack the US no matter what, blinded by some sort of hatred/jealousy.

I think the crazy lil' eelman (kim jong-il) wants to go down in a blaze of glory or at least is bored with old age and just wants some action. If he does have nukes, I believe he wants to use them before he dies.

For all that do not know, I believe Iran and North Korea do not have a Rothschild owned central bank. It is funny that Iran and Israel hate each other the most. Can you guess if Iraq and Afghanistan had one too before 9/11? Nope.

I can not back that information up, besides from info found on this site and other forums. But, I do however believe it speaks volumes to where our motives come from, if true.

Maybe, Eel does want action/attention, or maybe it is just propaganda build up to let us take out two birds with one stone.

Nuclear huh... Well if they do I betcha anyone born after that would not remember that there was once a country called North Korea.

If NK is really that stupid, then they deserve what's coming.

Do it North Korea, DO IT!
Im tired of sitting around with nothing good to see on TV. All the Iraqi and Afghan combat footage has gotten boring. I need something that involves nukes and mass annihilation. LOL

But in any case I await eagerly to see what NK does. Especially if it coincides with the TimeWave and the sharp drop with the Huang Ti wave. I hope I still don't understand it all the timewave stuff but over all its a 50/50 chance of War or Kim just waving his nuclear dildos around....again.

Yes Im insane...SUE ME.

NORTH KOREA IS OPENLY SAYING THEY HAVE AND WILL USE NUCLEAR WEAPONS.... and we don't do a damn thing.

People might not get why the banking system has anything to do with it. Glad there are at least some that "get it".
