It's not a matter of "ooooooh run and hide" from them - it's a matter of morals and decency.

The gay community wants to distance itself from the Nambla/bestiality community, but if you think about it - both are sins, according to God. BUT both communities will stop at nothing to push their opinions/views/beliefs/agenda upon the rest of society - to try to intimidate/force/coerce them into accepting them as "normal" and "moral".

No one seemed to have a problem with the gay community back in the day - why? Because they, mostly, congregated in their own neighborhoods, doing their own thing, and truly not harming anyone else.

But now? Things have changed - we have parades up and down the streets - filled with half dressed people, some exposing private parts in full view of anyone that is unfortunate enough to see, lobbyist/govt entities that are in the halls of our congress demanding that me, and my family, accept what God tells us we don't have to accept - we have a homosexual doctrine that is sneaking into our kindergarten and elementary school system, as well as jr and high schools - thansk to, yes, our new white house 'school czar' - check out HIS background if you want to see an "agenda" in action. Our kids have no chance in today's world.

Oh wait - I guess you need more proof - ok HERE it is.

You can call it a "agenda" or a "doctrine" or just what is is ....... another tool of satan that he is using to gain as many souls as he can away from God.

Gays(true gay people) comprise of a small amount of the population. To the average straight people of the world, their 'concerns' about their niche group, are minimal.

That is a fact.

But when people say that gay people have an "agenda", I disagree. Homosexuality is very much used as a distraction issue for us. But it's mainly the gay "leaders' which do this. They are so obsessed with their gayness, they build entire lives and carrers around the fact.

Problem is, they then expect not to be treated as 'different'.

But being gay has no "agenda" to it. I strongly believe it is an inborn attraction for the same sex. yes, I feel it is a birth defect, but it is not an issue of 'morality' or spirituality. It's a small populace of any given animal species that occurs in nature.

A birth defect that should not have any blame or stigma or judgment thrown at it. It is just what it is.

These threads get weird when someone tries to interject that being gay is some sort of political movement...a bunch of guys with whips and leather chaps joined to takeover the planet.

As soon as "God" is introduced into the conversation, I tune out.

The mythical creature who sits in a big chair in the sky somewhere, has nothing to do with the fact that homosexuality occurs in nature. We accept autism, we accept other biological flaws, yet with "gayness" we want to interject "Gawwwd" because it disturbs us that a man is getting down and dirty with another man. Sure it's 'gross' , to most of us straight men (we non closeted ones), but what the hell does an imaginary being in the sky have to do with it?

What if someone doesn't believe in the Bible or God?

You are like millions of others, my friend - that don't like the rules, so they shoot, and dismiss, the messenger.

Entirely your choice - but it does, or should, prove to most on here that we, as humans, will try to avoid, at all costs - even losing our very souls, thinking we will somehow escape having to be held accountable one day.

Sad but it's reality.

I love selective perspectives and the inherent need for people to foolishly and desperately validate them.

The thread might be by the Original Poster’s own definition more aptly named “The True Evils of the Religious Agenda”.

Since it is by the Original Poster’s estimation the Christian’s who have the most problem with anyone attempting to lead a lifestyle any more or less convoluted and hypocritical than their own that people then want to protect their right to do so.

Yet as typical with Christians and all others who need a herd mentality to validate and justify their own failed attempts to live the lifestyle of preference they have chosen, Jesus clearly said “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”.

That sure wouldn’t be ANYONE ON THIS PLANET!

I like Christians I really do, my lions downright love them! I like gays I really do, they are well mirthful and tidy and I can’t remember the last time one ever stole a girlfriend away from me.

In fact I like everyone! Just to slightly varying degrees.

The only things rights are going to do for the gays is enslave them in the same kinds of bonds to the system the rest of us are enslaved by already who aren’t gay.

Wonder how mirthful they will be then!

Careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

I really think the thread should be titled “The Real Evils of Christians Who Know Nothing About Christianity” but then again it is a real long book, kind of a depressing one too!

If someone doesn't believe in God? That is their choice - but my advice would be to educate yourself on the Bible, first, and then make your choice. Otherwise, you probably be basing your decision on what the majority of "society" is basing theirs on.

We are accountable for knowing God's word - if we reject that, then God rejects us, in the end. However, He gives us chance after chance after chance after chance to get it right - He has proved to be an extremely patient God. Had I been in charge of this planet, I would have snuffed it out centuries ago.

I used to teach biblical studies...in Hebrew and Greek. Was studying to be a Theologian at one time.

But thanks for your concern.

Which are subjective.

Who doesn't necessarily exist.

They aren't "pushing" anything. All that they want is to be allowed to marry those that they love. They want equal rights, not special rights.

Unlike you, I don't need THEISM to recognize I have a soul. Tell me, where was YOUR soul before you had read the "good word"? Hint: It was always there, and didn't take words from a comprised book over over 200 authors, thousands of years ago to GIVE you said "soul".

Your words are empty and meaningless. I do not follow your rules ...that are based on THEOS. Your delusions aren't shared by BILLIONS of us and you can't stand it.

Yes, thank God for them - but sadly, they too are slowly being ripped apart and redone - to "society's" desires.

Our constitution, being backed by the majority of our current congress, is being defecated upon, to put it mildly.

We have a self admitted pedophile as a 'school czar' - the current sad state of our "society" should come as no big shock to anyone.

Just keeps looking more and more like an "agenda" to me.
