Sometimes the universe has its way of showing you a path and leading you down it when you aren't even realizing it. I know for a fact thats true.

Yes. The universe has been leading me down a few paths recently. I think it is very important to follow them. The interesting thing is when they start to converge.

I am not sure why I find the middle east wars so interesting, (aside from the fact that it infuriates me that my tax dollars are contributing to the deaths of beautiful young people, and I mean all of them -Iraqi, Afgani, American, Canadian etc.) All for our addiction to oil.

The Haiti thing is connected to all of this too, I think. 20,000 American troops there? That's one American soldier for every 150 persons affected by the quake. And they still can't get enough aid through to help them? Oil and gold interests. Brown people all over the world are being F&^%#D for resources. Brown is the new black I guess.

LOL Slayer....

But on topic, the Surge worked I was there for the Invasion, I was there for the surge, I was wounded during the surge. But I recently had a chance to get some closure over there, a group of us Iraqi War Vets took a trip with met with US and Iraqi Soldiers, members of the Iraqi Government, Its freaking night and day...

There Soldiers seem to have a purpose now, our well there bored as hell they’ve been fighting for almost 10 years now. But the like the idea of not getting shot at... Iraq and its people have a chance, Hell after our own revolutionary war some key issues were never fixed. The Whiskey Rebellion, The cruelty of Slavery which ended only after we tore our selves apart, and then one hundred more years of brutal oppression... So you see no nation is perfect Iraq has to lick its own wounds and heal its self... Maybe we should take note of that.
