Uh, no.. it's not murder, the UK calls it collateral damage when iraqis are summarily slaughtered, I'd call it collateral damage karma if the same happened to the brits. I am for returning the islands to the original inhabitants, the pre-empire residents who were not home when the france re-discovered their home.... and if s.americans unleash a similar "shock and awe" level of violence and cruelty on the falklands, as the UK helped unleashed on the iraq, I'm cool with it this time.

Whats the problem?, if the UK can lie to assist in massive suffering of women & babies, as I see it... s.american nations can do the same this time.. they'd just be following the so called "world leaders" US/UK example after all.

If the UK can use sociopath violent mercenaries to kill iraqis unnecessarily, it's a fair tactic for s. americans too... same with drones taking out innocent people having tea time at home, as long as some s.american leader calls them a name first, like "terrorist" or "illegal occupant", AND that leader has a note from his lawyer..

lol.. looks like the UK'ers et al around here really don't like the idea of the tables being turned.. lmao... I'm glad the thought of brits being brutally harshed on "UK style" is disturbing, maybe that's the point. Having a similar level of horrific violence and suffering happen to british "women and babies" sounds like it would suck, eh?.. the iraqis dont seem to be enjoying it either.

Congratulations that is the most ignorant post I have read all week. If you dont know what you are talking about keep your foolish insulting opinions to yourself. British soldiers arent the ones killing innocent Iraqis, its muslim extremists. The very people who britain are fighting. With such a post you actually sound like one yourself. British people were the first people to live on the falkland islands, before that nobody lived there so stop talking about giving them back to the natives, because that is us, the UK people, the falklanders, the rightful owners! deal with it!

Indeed.

The strange thing is that I agree with him (up to a point) about Iraq and Afghanistan, but he fails to recognise the difference between those situations and the Falklands, either by design or through total ignorance.

Since it appears you are of the same mindset and use the same justification as every other person in history who justifies deliberate civilian deaths, especially babies, as good.

lol.. nope. church is evil, not irish and I was in saudi, eh about 20 years ago, as young brainwashed pawn of violence for the oligarchs... I found my alleged blood thirsty enemy to be normal people defending their land for some a-hole politician.

BTW I have lived under tyrants who: assassinate, kidnap, ignore international laws & torture like saddam, have show trials like kim jong il, deny rights similar to both, use propaganda to excuse violence more effectively than hitler.. and rig elections like a proper banana republic.

The biggest difference: my tyrant so called 'leaders' have exported more needless death, suffering and unnecessary violence than 100 saddams..

Except it's not going to happen.

Argentina does not and will not have the capability to invade and deal out the death you crave for UK citizens.

Better you should hope for peaceful resolution than pray for violence to be visited on others.

I think those are lesser considerations than the main problem Saddam posed. The REAL problem HE posed. He murdered his own countrymen by the thousands, and had an entire nation living in fear . He had NOTHING to do with the bombings here in Britain, and nothing at all to do with the Twin Towers attacks. Seperate those two things in your head , theres no evidence to link them.
He was removed from power under false pretences, and if we wanted a just and fair war there in Iraq, then we should have gone in under the guise of concern for the human rights of the citizen of the country , rather than inflating intelligence dossiers about his non existant weapons of mass destruction. Mind you, if we had gone in with the right emphasis, then I guess the outright murder of tens of thousands of noncombatant civilians probably wouldnt have gone down as well as it did. "Oh yeah , we are going to go in and save the Iraqi people...by slamming thousands of pounds of explosives into populated areas just to take out one guy with an ancient badly maintained obsolete rifle." wouldnt have washed. We might actualy have had to have FOUGHT for the place, rather than just bombing everything to hell and back to kill a viscious minority.

I think the Brits should invade Argentina and expand their Falkland territory.

If you disagree with my statement then why would anyone think Argentina wanting to take Falkland islands as anything different?
