Greer's disclosure beginnings were humble and great...

I don't even think this is the same guy that bought us that effort...

Bottom line now "Steer clear of Greer".

What I also find interesting Internos is that the camera person:

a) Only took one shot of the supposed alien.
b) Only released one picture of the supposed alien.

Both scenarios raise more questions.

Why take one shot? Wouldn't the average person be snapping as many images as possible? Different images would also show movement over time and strengthen the claims.

Was the alien a puppet, making more than one shot useless or 'telling'?
Did the 'alien' only show up in post (after the fact)?

Contacting CSETI

I decided to contact CSETI yesterday about the photo, mentioning that even people that normally defend Steven are not doing so this time on many forums (which is true). I also mentioned that this image is just as likely to hurt his Orion Project... and questioned if it was it really worth it.

This is the response from Debbie Foch of CSETI the same day. I have removed my name and email address for reasons of privacy.

I sent Debbie an email back as I wasn't overly enthused by the brief reply:

I wasn't expecting a reply but Debbie did anyway.

Hi Troy,
Dr. Greer will be discussing this on Friday's World Puja radio show.

Regards,

Debbie

So it appears Steven is going to rationalize/plug this photo on the Puja Radio Show. I'm not aware of this show. Can someone record it, mp3 it and put it somewhere for download? In any case, it's going to be interesting how this is spun. Will it be used as a marketing ploy to bolster what could be flagging numbers at the CSET field trips? I guess we will know soon.

Well CSETI's story is that it's the only photo that showed anything.

"At this point, we knew that there were ET beings very close to our contact circle. It was then, around 11:30 pm, as I was asking people to begin to be seated, that Raven Nabulsi took a remarkable photograph of an ET being floating above our chairs to the east, looking directly at the camera. She also took several photos before and after the one that showed the ET being, but all the other photos were completely black.

Those who have followed our research are aware of reports of transdimensional manifestations of ET craft and beings. We have had countless such encounters, but to my knowledge this is the first time that an ET has manifested so completely in a photograph. It is one of the most historic events in the history of the UFO/ET subject."

I've never heard of Puja radio either but it looks like Steven was already on there in December to talk about about the photograph - www.worldpuja.org...

I'm going to listen now, I'm sure it'll fill my dreams with mystical visions and cosmic vibrations.

edit: whoa it costs $48 to sign up to that site, guess I won't be listening.

Thanks for that info Maybe...maybe not!

So it sounds as though this will be a case of preaching to the choir. A place where Steven can plug his image without having to field difficult questions.

No surprises there! I guess we won't see him defending his claims on Paracast then!

Well, in all honestly, (and with some disappointment), i start thinking that all the stuff coming from Mr. Greer would deserve to be moved automatically to the Hoax forum as it's happening for example with Billy Meier's stuff.
To give the benefit of the doubt the first time is mandatory, to give a second chance is understandable, to give a third one is self-harm, to endure after all the aforementioned stages is crazy, in my humble opinion.
This is just my humble take on mr. Greer stuff, i won't spend a minute more of my life (that i wouldn't get back anyway) anymore on stuff coming from him.
As far as i'm concerned , the case (the WHOLE Greer's case) is closed.
If one behaves like some CLOWN and he spreads BS like some CLOWN, then i don't see why he should feel offended if anyone LOLs at him: clowns' purpose is to make you laugh, this is what i've been taught when i was child, and of course i won't change my mind now.

Perhaps we should discuss this idea of Greer going directly to the hoax forum with Management? I believe this is fair treatment for the very reasons you have outlined Internos. Of course we know, Greer has done more harm than just those examples so I'm personally all for the move.

I'd like to hear other peoples opinions? What say you people?

Well I dunno, InfaRedMan.....

Don't you think a good ol' Greer or Reed or Meier argument can be just the think to warm your cockles on a cold lonely night.....?

Well at least it's cheaper than the $99,999 Greer charges for some sessions on the beach.

I have to wonder if some of those people who forked out such big money to Greer really wanted to see something for their money or else they thought they weren't getting their money's worth?

So now if you spent $99,999 at least you have a picture of to show for it (Even if it is only a desert plant, maybe if he tells you it's an alien you'll want to believe so bad that you weren't screwed out of $99,999 that you'll believe it).

But even $48 is too steep to listen to Greer tell us why the thing that looks like a plant is really an alien. I suppose nobody on ATS listened to it?

Well as much as I have defended the Dr Greer cause in the past im not too sure I can go any further.....

There was always benefit of the doubt due to the initial 'Disclosure Project' press conference but after the last few photo's that have come out and the serious lack of forward momentum in the public of the various Greer related projects i'm starting to wonder if any of it was true at all even though I feel deep down it is.....

Am very interested to hear what was said at this radio show and if any of it makes any sense.....

I am also starting to doubt everything about the Disclosure Project. Having said that, if they did have a picture of a real alien would we believe it?

I can't accept that this is real (an alien sitting on an armchair somewhere outside?!?!) and I've currently lost all and any respect I once had for the man.

Greer's radio appearance is scheduled for this upcoming Friday mate. It hasn't happened yet, but if you wish to be one of the crowd privy to Mr Greer's explanations, it's going to cost you $48.

The picture was the hook, and now come the charges. If it was truly the Earth shattering, opinion changing piece of evidence that Steven claims it to be, he would be appearing on free access Radio Programs that aren't going to charge you to listen, nor would he be preaching to a vetted choir to which he knows he will be held to little account.

This is completely disingenuous, and IMHO, testament to the weakness of his case and illustrative of Greer's overall strategy.

I agree completely that what Mr. Greer is doing should be labeled as hoax.

He has become nothing more than a con man.

It would be nice to see ATS take a clear stand in this matter. Perhaps it can prevent at least some gullible people from getting sucked into Mr. Greer's business scam.

is that a real price list for the CSETI training camps etc

that is outstandingly shocking..... how can they justify this ???

I'm sorry but I think we need to put all Dr Greer related stuff in the *HOAX* threads as much as it pains me to say....

Yes, it is the real list, it is from the "CSEI" website. I was quite shocked when I saw it, I was not aware just how much money Mr. Greer is taking from people.

I wrote earlier in this thread that I felt sorry for Mr. Greer, since he must have lost more than just a few of his marbles. Well, it turns out he has enough marbles to grab thousands and thousands of dollars from his followers. I don't feel quite so sorry for him anymore...
