Lil Wayne -- Illuminati Connection?

I was recently listening to the to Lil Wayne's new album the Rebirth, and I came across a track called 'Drop the World' in it he says:

"I know what they don’t wanna tell you Just hope you’re heaven-sent, and you’re hell-proof I-I walk up in the world and cut the lights off And confidence is the stain they can’t wipe off Huh, my word is my pride But wisdom is bleak, and that’s a word from the wise Served to survive, murdered and bribed And when it got too heavy I put my burdens aside...."

I was recently was reading that Illuminati has roots in the music industry and forces singers put messages in their songs, and that brings me here to good ol' ATS. I hope to hear all opinions. Thank you.

Any group that doesn't allow me to be a member of must be a dangerous group....

but then again, any group that does allow me to be a member of is probably a boring and/or crappy group anyhow.

So it really wouldn't surprise me if Lil Wayne was involved with all that Illuminati in the music crap. Personally, I can't stand him. He's annoying and he kisses his dad lol. I've watched a video on youtube call "the Jay-Z Deception" :

which leads me to believe ALL the major pop/rap/rock whatever are involved too. I think all you have to do is listen to the message they are trying to get across. If they are talking about money, drugs, hoes, bitches and taking over the world then someone is telling them that's the message that the world needs to hear. I don't have children yet but I'll be damned if my daughter is gonna be singing about loosening up her buttons!!! The commercialized music industry is sooo corrupted.

it is possible i didn't listen him very much so I can't tell but it is sure that Illuminati are in pop music : Rihanna , Jay-Z , Lady Gaga ... and every day there are more of them when you hear songs like Run this town it is clear as a day don't you wonder why is pop industry so dark?

In all honesty the "Illuminati," may not exist. The only proof, and I use that term loosely, are some posters that were posted by alleged members, and a few writings. That being said; it would be very easy to print some posters and write a few books to evoke some sort of emotional response from the masses, even if the group you are posing as is a figment.

If they do exist; who's to say they are bad guys? Especially since so little is known about them.

Well, it's a top secret group, so the jacket doesn't say anything, since "you're not supposed to know"

You're right, the "Illuminati" may not exist but there is definitely something there. Call it the Illuminati, shadow government, big brother, elite, it's all the same thing. (secret) Control from the top.

Yeah, I think that any "illiuminati" symbolism that hip-hoppers use in their videos or in their lyrics is probably just to make people THINK that this artist is "in the know" or part of something secret and cool. Pretty pathetic really.

This one certainly seems to have a lot of illuminati inferences...notice the matrix like lines at the beginning and the secret handshake in the limo.

Man, that's a stretch. Your "matrix-like lines" are the lights in the casino's ceiling. Pretty typical for Vegas. The handshake is pretty common too. What else you got?
