The beginning of the video didn't catch this, but it seems like the whole thing was started by the old white guy who wanted the black guy to shine his shoes for him. You can't really blame the young guy for being pissed off if that is the case.

I wish I owned a t-shirt company right now.

I want one of double-chin's face with the caption: I hate Pinky and have plenty of time to tell you about it.

Another one with cornrow's bloodied face and the caption: He said shut up but I thought he said stand up.

Finally I want one with EBM's face and the caption: Coulda been a china man, made no difference to me.

Oh after seeing the below pictorial, I want a t-shirt with Amber Lamps picture too. This is too much fun, somebody stop me.

It wasn't that at all.
They got talking as strangers, the black fella misheard the white fella and jumped on the white hating band-wagon. Except it didn't work this time.

I learned one thing about this video:

How many closet racists exist on the internet.

How many people who are filled with hatred for blacks, tried living
their fantasies through the EBM, even though the EBM wasn't even racist.

Like "Yeah he beat up that black guy, white power" That's all I see when I read some of the comments.

Granted, there was exceptions, but if you look at the comments on the video, you can clearly see a lot of white people looked at this video as the whites winning over the blacks or some twisted #.

It's a shame really.

Civil rights was only 50 years ago, so this is really expected you know.
There's still generations who are still alive today who look at blacks like scum, but they hide it under political affiliations. Or just hide it completely in fear of social suicide.

I'd say in about 200 years I think that generation will be no more..

I starred you. The goofiest stuff on this thread has been posters trying to invent dialogue for both parties for the time period before the video/audio started! It is hard enough to decipher what was actually recorded (AMBERLAMPS), without worrying about trying to figure out what went on before the video begins.

His name is not pinky... jesus.

"Pinky" is a character in the movie "Next Friday"

He was a jerri Curled Pink suit wearing pimp who would say:

"Say it again! Say that again!"

That's why the used the name.

Youtube "Next Friday" And "Pinky" and you'll see.

So what is your explanation for when EBM says "you offered" and points to the front of the bus where it all started? How about when he asked what the black man said when he walked past to which he replies "why a f'n brother gotta spit-shine your shoes"?

While we don't know if EBM said anything prior to that comment, I think it's more likely that the black man said that meaning for him to move his feet (which is actually common), than EBM just randomly told that black man to shine his shoes when he got on the bus. Why not any of the other black people on the bus then?

Are you for reals? no seriously? are you for reals.. you are just assuming since you don't know the whole thing.

If you also read the transcript you can have a better understanding.

the white guy was siting down and obviously is a big guy, the black guy was using reverse racism the whole time.

he basicly asked the white man that if a black man has to ask a white man permission is like shining his shoes, the white man didn't understand the slang and thought he actually offered to shine his shoes.

then once the whole misunderstanding got blown out of proportion the black man used reverse racism again.

told him to go to the front because back then black people were only allowed to ride in the back and white people used to ride in the front.

is that really too hard to understand?

EDIT: can't spell or write, was missing words and just sounded racist myself.

Are you saying;that to say,as a Black Man,"What's a Brother gotta spit shine your shoes?"as a way to get a man to move his feet?"Cause if that's so,the whole thing makes a LOT of sense.

Sorry to say it, but you better not hold your breath. Things die hard, and it swings both ways. If it still exists now, you have the next generation growing up with it, only to pass it on to the next.

Oh you know that t-shirt is in production right now. But I think EBM probably had it custom made so he should get some royalties.

Actually, thats exactly what it was. The "EBM" was taunting the drunk black dude, asking him how much for a spit shine. Beard man was looking for trouble.

People are making it out to be some seemingly defenseless old white man beats down a menacing black thug... when in reality Beard Man was the biggest and strongest looking 67 year old man I've ever seen, and the "menacing black thug" was just a run down old drunk (50 years old himself), trying to defend his honor after he was insulted by EBM.

EBM isnt a hero, hes just a troublesome Vietnam vet.

off course it wasnt a 67 years old ... but really, thats not the point

the point is that the thug wanted to show that he could beat anyone, he could do anything and got beat up by this guy ...

the best thing was that the woman was inciting the fight, saying for the guy to beat the other's ass ... and then she say they could press charges ahhaha

she should be arrested for inciting the fight

Seriously, every fight I've ever seen, there has always been some loudmouth bitch yelling her head off and stirring it up, usually before it starts. I've never gotten that.

So what is your explanation for when EBM says "you offered" and points to the front of the bus where it all started?

My explanation is that the black guy says "I didn't offer you sh*t"
And judging by the look on the black guys face, he's a little taken aback by the comment.

EBM literally says 2-3 times... will you shine my shoes in the first 5 secs of the video... even when the black guy is saying "AC transit" the EBM keeps talking over him and saying "how much you charge me for a shoe-shine" and also says "Let's get back to business" at which point he looks to his left with a look that says... "I know this is gonna wind him up... lets see what happens" But the black guy is like "what?" and takes his glasses off as he clearly can't believe what he's hearing.

Whatever was said at the start/front of the bus/when black guy got on, I think, was said by EBM.... the black guy reacted with "why a brother gotta spit shine your shoes" and it goes from there....

But we don't KNOW..... so my version and your version are irrelevant... we have the footage, that's it, and IMHO.... the EBM is the instigator.

They both should have left it and a fight was unnecessary.... however, if it was racially motivated, which judging by the conversation at the start of the clip it was, then I can see why the black guy wouldn't leave it.

We literally have no idea what happened before the camera starts rolling.

But the hostile, aggressive and slightly weird one, is EBM.

The look he shoots to his left kinda says "I know I'm pushing it here, but i wanna see what this guy's gonna do"

How about when he asked what the black man said when he walked past to which he replies "why a f'n brother gotta spit-shine your shoes"?

And.... what was said before that?

The Bearded guy could have said to him as he got on "Will you shine my shoes?"

We don't know... so just saying "He probably said this" or "This probably happened" is pointless.

For everything you say happened, i have an equally believable counter argument.. but you know what?

It's all speculation... we have no idea,

While we don't know if EBM said anything prior to that comment, I think it's more likely that the black man said that meaning for him to move his feet (which is actually common), than EBM just randomly told that black man to shine his shoes when he got on the bus. Why not any of the other black people on the bus then?

I don't.

I think it's likely that EBM said something to him, judging by his body language and the way he talks over the black guy and keeps on about shoe-shining.

And maybe he did say something to others on the bus.. the black guy overheard and said "Why a brother gotta shine your shoes" In fact that could be what happened.... EBM was asking another black person to do it, he overheard and then it all went from there.

We just Don't know.

So lets go with the footage we have.

If you can watch that and think that EBM is a hero or that he is in the right, then I don't think anything I say will change your opinion.
