Ghost face image captured during my DJ set.

Please give me some of your feedback and opinions of this image taken of me while djing.

This image was taken on Saturday, Feb 6th in Hamilton, New Zealand at about 11.30pm. I dont know if this holds any relevance but the additional info may be of interest to some of you.

The file is a decent 3.5 MB so, a good opportunity for some of you to manipulate the image further to bring out additional characteristics.

I can see something, at the same time, i believe this could just be a trick of the light.

Here are the words from the email from the lady who sent me the image.

"Hey Karn

Just a reminder re the DVD of the show plus extra footage…could we get a few copies we don’t mind paying for them as well.

Congrats on the show again….hey I forgot to tell you and I hope this photo doesn’t freak you out too much as it has freaked all of us out but Nelda took this photo of you the night of the dance party..have a look to the right of the photo it really looks like something is standing next too you..im sure its in the way the banner was folded but we have had another photo taken where there was a ghostly figure in but was a few years ago.

Crazy."

Unfortunantly its just the light reflecting off the banner.....but its a great effect. It may send some of the more "believe everything" types nuts

This is magnificent. Top marks for a really great image. No doubt you will be bombarded by comments to the tune of 'it was the way the background drape folded and caught the light of the flash' type comments. But ignore that. You can interpret this how you want to and so will others, including me.

I posted an incredible picture of a mist entity on here recently that was invisible to the naked eye and all bar one very intelligent, thoughtful poster who looked beyond the 'obvious', I was rubbished and picked apart. Bah! I know what I photographed as I was there. You do the same.

By the way, as a student myself and my three flat mates created a work of art by splattering different coloured paints over a parachute and then hung it from the ceiling beneath different lamps with different coloured bulbs. When we turned on the red bulb, whose face was staring down at us? Salvador Dali.

I have a strange feeling Photoshop was used with the production of this picture... just a hunch.

Yes looks like a classic case of Paraeidolia Though has to be one of the best I have ever seen in my opinion. I reckon there could be a few bucks in that one with the right marketing etc. But yeah no ghost here for me to see.

Thanks for your responses thus far, regarding the 'photoshop' comment, its safe to say, that i have no photoshop skills hence why i asked people to further manipulate the image.

The 'Paraeidolia' suggestion holds some weight. As i expressed in my orig post, i can see something but although an avid fan of ghosts and aliens, i dont see a definitive ghost or phantom in this image. Upon zoom i am intrigued by the detail around the nose area and the weird sideways flap/tongue/ear in the mouth section.

When she sent me the photo originally, i never even saw it, i wasn't until yesterday, she re-sent it saying 'ghost image' that i saw what she was referring too.

The situation just became a little more compelling based on the below facebook chat text.

That is weird!!

It's just the reflection of the flash on the banter, but it looks kinda cool it reminds me of the agents from the Matrix. =P

Well it's spooky, that's for sure. Uncanny, really. It can mostly be dismissed as a reflection, but it's the face that is so awesome. And it does sorta match the one on your tee. Both surreal images. The colors, even.

What is the image on your shirt by the way? Is it just art work, or does it represent something?


Edit: Seriously, what is that on your tee? Maybe you've conjured up some ancient creature. (or is that only on syfy channel?)

Anyway......what is it.

I know Dream Kidd personally and this is not a fake and it hasn't been photo shopped.

It was taken at a party down in Hamilton at Vilagrad Winery and i also personally know the owners of that venue too.

Pretty buzzy image. It looks more than just a banner folding and light effect to me.

The image is of a Devil!! there is text on the shirt saying 'Devil' etc.

The brand of shirt is 555 soul.

The more i look at it the less i see a face but none the less, an interesting shot. I have shown it too a few people asking what they see in the image without even saying anything and they all say a face.

Anyway, it looks like the demon in your picture that was captured has a sense of humor. It manifested using the pic on your shirt as its pattern, and clearly, it is mocking your stance by scratching his own imaginary record!

Or it could be a reflection of light on the folds of the poster.

Well if the photo has not been "shopped" then it is a reflection as the image is using a ghostly mixer as well.

Hate to jump the wagon here but i think you are seeing light reflecting off the banner. Still a cool picture and as mentioned before a Great example of Pareidolia. Personally i do believe in ghosts and spirits and whatnot so please don't think of me as being a debunker or anything.

I concur with the majority of posters here... What we have is not a picture of a ghost.... But a picture of light reflecting off of that banner...

Sorry, but there is nothing paranormal about that picture.

I got excited to think that this may be some a paranormal activity image but, my hopes have since been dashed.

Im sure it is just a strange reflection.

Hey Dreamkidd, great picture ... and yes it is the way the light's reflecting off the banner ... but it got me thinking ...

Who's to say that these images aren't another way for spirits/ghosts to present themselves via manipulation of the light available on any given background (in this case the banner).

Just a thought from someone who does her fair share of paranormal investigation ... and has seen many a strange thing.
