Okay, this one actually makes me mad.

1) Shift =/= turn. A line can move. Take a piece of lined notebook paper and turn it. GASP! THE LINES SHIFTED! They must not be lines!

2) You are probably thinking of the geometric definition of a line -- there are no geometric lines in the real world, because they have to be infinite and non-curved, and that's pretty expletiving unlikely.

3) Our linguistic conventions do not necessarily reflect the way the world is, so even IF lines could not "shift" or "turn" or whatever you think you're criticizing, that is no reason to think that time is a line just because "timeline" is what we call it. Further, "shifting" is a highly suspect and indirect term for something that's really expletiving hard to describe.

Where I am from they call that being wrong. And as for New Zealand and Australia, I have a map from 1923 we got from my great grandmother's house when she passed, and looking at it now because we have it framed in the hall, I see that New Zealand appears in the same location as it does on any google image map I can find.

And a few years back, another person from my small town who had the same name as me died in a car wreck; everyone thought it was me who had died, a lot of people were confused by the sight of me seeing me alive and walking around. Dimensional travellers indeed more like Dimensia travellers

ok, I am going to say only this:

I find this topic silly, I find the concept dumb, and a product of too many really bad sci-fi movies.

in saying that, I read a post (I skimmed through them) of how Au was further out normally and it was now too close on a map. out of simple curiousity, I googled some world maps and I felt a bit silly seeing NZ to the east verses north by northwest. Not a issue, I know geography but certainly not an expert...cant say I paid much attention to "over there" to begin with but I did think it was sort of northwesterlyish near Au.

So, move on...not a issue, now reading some other posts, it seems they also believed it was NW.

I will believe for now that my poor recollection of geography is to blame here, just found it interesting that my error also was mentioned...and only came across the discussion of it after I looked on a map and seen this error.

Again, I simply blame my crap memory of geography, not some weird timeline shift. incidently, I always remember Mandella living...he spent tons of years in jail, movies were made about him, I remember watching some of the movies of him as a kid when he was still imprisoned...the rest of my recollection of history is pretty in line with...history. just found my au/nz thing funny.

This reminds me of what Marylin Monroe was saying on Opera a couple years back about how she felt like something was off.

All I can think of is that we're outside the consensus possibly because it made an impact on us and or we had something else important attached to the event. Maybe it was close to a bday, or something else and that's why it stuck in our recall...it is just a theory, I also think that this is something the media/elites/illuminati,masons may have known for a very long time but that is another thread.

And since no-one has noted this that I see, I never remember New Zealand being on the south east OR North west side of Australia. I remember New Zealand being North East. and Tasmania was between them.

space and time aren't connected, some places in the universe time goes faster, others it goes slower.

Even if time does shift, there isn't anything we can do about it, just adapt and try to keep on track with historical events. and dont over think something just so your brain can figure out a way for it to be a time shift.

as for australia, our planet as something called "tenonic plates" and they move all the time, mostly at a pace we dont feel, so if australia looks a bit off its cause its tetonic plate it moving, like south calaforina will eventaully just break off, or at one point all the plates were connected.

So next time you look at something and jump right for "timeshifts" think about how logical the idea really is "hey did that person always stand there or did they just simply ..move" as for celebrities, BiG Smalls faked his death a couple of times, 1994 wasnt a fake but you get an idea of how many times a famous person will PRETEND TO DIE

I'm sorry, but that part of my life...missing...I don't recall not a single day from that chunk of time...my memory has gotten worse the past few years. But early part of this year I had times where the clock read a certain time an then a few minutes later it showed it was earlier than what it said the last time I looked at the time this was sept-nov 09.

oh btw, my new year is in september...sooo I go sept through sept as one year.

today's weirdness will blow your mind....after reading this thread and posting i started thinking about recent "jumps"...

i live in an RV next to mom, usually cook and shower there. i have a clothesline attached to my picnic table and hang rags and towels there, and also have a windsock tied in a spot so that it does not run into clothes or the RV during strong winds, i did this due to previous experience with the wind, so i KNOW it was tied in that spot. this morning it was banging on the RV, i just went and re-tied it, there is NO WAY it could have moved on its own.

i recently got propane in my RV for heating and cooking snack items. today i decided to see if the hot water heater would work (it hasn't for some time) and sure enough it fired up. ok. works, that's wierd, it was broke. waited for it to heat up so i could shave and shower and clean my nasty bathroom, checked the hot water at the kitchen sink. the knobs are labeled backwards, normally hot is on the left. me and mom have joked about how my uncle who sold us this RV couldn't label the knobs right, hot water has always been on the left but labeled as cold. well, you guessed it - the hot water is now labeled correctly, on the RIGHT HAND SIDE - i have not used hot water in this thing for a long time and would have no reason to "fix" the labeling. the other day i looked to see actually which was which, tracing the line to the tank - hot was on the left, always has been to me and mom and labeled incorrectly - i just verified this with her.

i recently encountered hard drive issues and reformatted a clicking hard drive which had been working fine up until yesterday. before the reformat, i had to put it on its side or upside down for it to run. after the reformat, it ran fine upright - for awhile. now it is upside down and tilted to the left and running fine. that may be purely hardware error and not a jump, but with all the synchs it is hard to ignore.

sorry, but YES - my son was visiting me during june-july and i remember time being weird, he even commented on it (he's 13) - i remember micheal dying and all that stuff, so yea i'm on board with ya.....

how can anyone justify a time shift as to thinking that something looks different, changing in a blink of an eye, seeing someone believed dead, headaches, sleeping, not remembering things, and some of the other things mentioned.

It just shows the mind certainly does and can play tricks on people, and nothing to do with timeshifts.

there would just have to be more to a reality of timeshifting than just these things alone, where are all the noticing effects of such a thing instead of the painless and unnoticed transgression into a instant new reality.

I am mailman i turned onto a major Blvd, I saw one of our carriers struggling with some parcels at his vehicule I was headed back to the office i had gotten far ahead of him never saw him in my mirrors pulled in and parked loaded my tube pushed it in and who standing in front of me it was him i was shocked!.I asked him how did you beat me back he just laughed first thing i thought of was there a time change thing happen here.
