As a new member, it is only correct procedure that I make my voice heard here.

I appreciate differing opinions on a variety of issues and am glad that civility and decorum is a loud subject, here.

I come with a long track-record of suspensions and banishments from other websites, so hopefully that will not continue here. However, most people don't enjoy my high intellect and air of refinement, and controversy seems to follow me wherever I go on the internet. I suppose it will only be a matter of time before I am requested to leave this place, however it won't be on the grounds of my failure to use decorum and civility with the members of this fine site.

Thanks for allowing me to make my introduction, and for now I would just like to add that I hope to be a positive addition to this site.

Some have suggested - in the past - that I am; The Troll-King of Chatsitea. I do not reject this assertion in its entirety, but I don't support it wholeheartedly, either. Simply because it's a long and complicated story which no amount of (cache memory) or telling will do it justice on an introduction thread.

This is music to my ears, it really is. It stirs in me the emotions surrounding the story of a grand project.

I will certainly not break the rules, and since controversial ideas are welcome and supported by allowing them to be posted, I dare say that my time here will be longer than the combined times of my membership at all the other sites I have joined.

That is absolutely correct. You, Sir, have stumbled upon the best conspiracy site in the world. I say that and I mean it. I have found plenty of conspiracy sites that have plenty of abuse going around with the members.


Likewise, I have seen plenty of other sites with mods abusing their powers.... Speaking as both a member and a moderator, I assure you, that will not happen here...

But do not confuse abuse with being challenged. Because you will be challenged every turn. Your every thought, your every opinion will be challenged by the best and the brightest.

There will always be someone who disagrees with you and they will not hesitate to challenge your thoughts with their own... And you are encouraged to do the same.

Just follow the T&C and you will do just fine.

Oh! I've already heard the one about creating your own luck, and found it a little vague. It's likely that all suggestions surrounding this elusive topic will sound the same. But you never know, something just might strike true which will make it a little more easier to try and grasp.

What can be inferred and understood by such a small sample, of a larger set of knowledge, is only that, small.

Welcome. Your reference to a (master) Troll-King, is why I stopped in.

Hopefully I will not have to put a crown on my Troll Gif in future engagements.

I usually do not bust it out unless someone has been truly a troll, but for a new and vivacious member, here you go. Welcome Daniel.

edit to add-One of the things that I use a lot on this site is the MY ATS button on the main screen page of AboveTopSecret.com. If you click it it will bring up threads that you have subsribed to or have posted a comment. You can also set what your favorite sections of ATS are and those will show you the latest threads of those different sections.

There are numerous threads on how to do certain things but there does not seem to be many on the site breakdown or navigation through the site.

If there are any questions that you cannot find, just post a thread on the boards and discussion section and someone will usually come and answer it post haste.
