Mudpit strategy will be applied to all forums. The same rules we have in the mudpit, we will have in all other forums, even the rest of the BTS forums...

Well we'll all just have to control ourselves better... But really, I still see massive spillover into the other forums.

Maybe the change will make the Pit into a more debate-oriented thing instead of flame wars.

I really hope that you are joking, Bandit! The last thing that we need is people getting more pissed at each other than they already do by spilling any little bit of bile out of their mouths at will. I do my best to stay out of the mudpit because the screaming is just not productive to any intelligent discussion.

Thanks for not scrapping it altogether.

Can you at least make it so old timers don't have to buy access to it. Like Jonna, I'm not a big fan of the Mud Pit, so I wouldn't want to have to spend points on it, but I wouldn't want to be locked out of it either, I still check it once in a while, even tho politics isn't really my thing.

Maybe like the email thing, those who registered before , say, half year in 2003, can buy it for free.

So how exactly do we get access now? I don't see the option in the store.
Maybe Herr Colonel is restricting access to only those he deems "non-repugnant" (just kidding)
It seems a shame to limit one of the most amusing and least informative forums though.

Oh, that's interesting! I don't think you are able to earn points for replying in the Mud-Pit, but now you'll have to use points to get inside!

Mud-Pit access now requires ATS Store purchase. The ability to purchase access is now available for all members in the store. For the next three days, access costs 500 points. After that, it will increase to the same price as RATS.
