when we have a world of robots doing any and all work force related things and successfully built a A.I which can help improve our living whjile building upon our current technology we'll have no need for money

with the machines doing everything for us and even creating new techs as well as curing illnesses etc there would be no need and thats when i believe we'd finally do away with money

but thats along way off

couldn't agree more...nobody climbing to the top of the hill

hence why I am a Socialist...sadly though I am real enough to know that fat cats are always out there...it's pathetic really

if you work hard you should be rewarded....not rewarded for running our country into the ground then getting a fat bonus

Trust me friend I dream as much as you do for those days

It doesn't matter if we get rid of currency. The things people produce and the services people render would become the new defacto currency...

...for example, you may grow wheat that I want to eat, but you also need to get your tractor fixed to grow more wheat. Luckily, I can fix your tractor. So I fix your tractor in exchange for wheat.

Pretty soon, this bartering for goods and services will become just the same as using currency -- the people who can grow the most wheat and the people who are really good at fixing tractors will become the most powerful.
