But don't you feel training ops like Joint Warrior also plan for actual situations and also project a clear message of capability and intent?

For example there is little point Saudi Marines practicing skiing with the RM in Norway, but practicing with the RM Taurus 09 Amphib task force on Saudi Beaches sends a clear message of co-operation, intent and capability.. even if it is not fullfilled. The message is sent..

However I find the whole mess intriguing..

This type of fear spreading is exactly what the controllers want.

What they don't want are those who have no fear at all.

Fear is a contagious feeling.. hence why fear mongering is such a great success.

Given the constant barrage of fear mongering in the MSM and else where, perhaps it would be nice if someone could point out some good grounding techniques to help deal with the stress of tis psychological warfare

Yes I agree. We do indeed practice to play but just what I am getting at is that these practices towards Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea are always going on. Some choose one exercise to tune into and bam that is their conspiracy when in fact the wargames involving those countries have gone on for several years since Iraqi Freedom. I used to be a 2W2 and am now a 3M0. Just recently we took part in an ORE (Operation Readiness Exercise) that involved us practicing for the Far East such as Korea, China and the Middle East such as Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan but we also practiced for Northern Russia so part of our exercise was in the cold. I just think picking a wargame that we have played many many times as evidence this one time is a bit odd

AKA shooting artillery and missiles near the border... it could be trouble, but very unlikely since North Korea is always hot air and nothing ever comes out of it.

Israel would have its nuclear option. But dropping nuclear bombs or unleashing nuclear-tipped Jerichos would leave Israel open to a maelstrom of global condemnation and international isolation.

So worst case scenario... nuclear war on the Korea peninsula, nuclear war in the middle-east and Argentina being wiped off the map!

War might start soon due to economical reasons, USA can only protect its economy if they start a big war and create massive waste, aka leads to huge productions aka stimulus for economy.

There is really no alternative now for USA besides these two due to its huge trillion dollar debt:

1. You go totally bankrupt, dollar is worth nothing. USA integrity and nation is at risk of collapse.

2. You start massive wars.

What would you choose? Hard one ha?
