Orion and me- a personal story

Ok, first I must preface this with this. I hope this in the right section I found a similar posting and just clicked start new thread; mods feel free to move this to where it needs to be.


Ok so my whole life I have been drawn to the constellation of Orion, it’s the only constellation I can actually pick out the night sky. There has always been something comforting about looking at it for me, when I’m stressed or nervous I look to Orion. I don’t know why I do this but I do. So in my 25 years on this planet I have talked to 2 different psychics/tarot card readers, one being my sister the other being a lady who ran her own shop in a town not to far from where I live.

The first one I ever talked to was my sister this was approximately 9 years ago. She told me that I had a very old soul and was somehow linked to Orion among other things; I just laughed this off, and chalked it up to her one knowing my obsession with Orion and her being a little crazy.

Then this happened two days ago wed Jan 20, I walked into this ladies "shop" and wanted to get my cards read and my future told, I was going in front of a job committee to see if I was getting fired or not on Thursday. Upon walking in and talking to the receptionist I took a seat to wait my turn there were two groups of people in front of me. When out walked the medium she looked at me and then talked to her receptionist and went back into her "office”. The receptionist came over to me and told me to go on back ahead of the other waiting customers I was kind of shocked by this but was happy that I was getting in faster than I had thought I would. I walked back into the "office" which smelled of incense and something kinda fruity and sat down. This is where things got a little freaky to me, she said

“You sir a very old soul, a son of Orion, whom has bestowed on you a great gift and a great burden. Your destiny is set in stone and has been for many ages, do not worry about the problems you have today they are irrelevant to the problems you will face. Now please leave and do not come back I will not see you in the future, your destiny is not for me to tell."

She got up and walked out of the room without me ever saying a single word, needless to say I was a bit shocked I sat there for a while waiting to see if she was coming back and when she hadn’t after a few min I went back out to the lobby and asked the receptionist what I owed and if I could talk to the medium again. The receptionist told me that I didn’t owe anything and that no I could not speak to her, as she had left and was not coming back that day.


Ok this creaped me out just shy of a week ago I got a tattoo on my back

Of what else but the constellation Orion in an Egyptian theme. I received this tattoo in a town three and a half hours away from where I got my "fortune" read.

Has anyone else heard of being a son of Orion? Or had an experience close to this if so please share I’m kinda freaked out by all this.

I can't say I've heard of it before, however, your story has a very personal connection to myself. I too, as long as I can remember, have had an otherworldly fascination with Orion. There are some nights where I will arrive home from work and just stand there waiting to see it if there is a cloud covering, or sometimes I just stare add it for odd amounts of time.

I have never had my futures read or anything like that, but I can relate to what the medium said on a personal level. I seem to have developed the thinking myself that the problems today and what I choose to do are just small steps towards a greater destiny. I have felt this way for the past two or three years now.

My guess is that that universe works in mysterious ways, and it is simply another clue to how we are all interconnected with the universe and all of our surroundings. Fate and destiny seem to be more than just superstition or hearsay.

Well to my knowledge anyways i have always been human, not reptilian. Or at least i hope not.

I wonder if some how this is all conected to other aspects of my life, and possibly yours, tell me if any of this hold true for you.

Precognition- dreams of events minor or major that have come true

the feeling of a presence around you at times when no one is there (ghost, spirits, or what have you)

Flash visions of the history of places that you are currently in

surviving of near death experiances with out a scratch on you when you really feel like you should of been killed.

Feeling of a guardian watching over you actualy becoming real to save you.

i can explain how all of these strange feelings or things affect and have affected my life if you want. but i dont really want to muddy up my bigger question by listing things most people would call me crazy for.

just wondering if you have had any experiances like the ones i have listed above that might also link together your feelings surrounding Orion with my feelings...

Strange, I had an obsession with Orion also. When I was about 12 I was looking at Orion and I was positive it was trying to communicate with me. I have always dismissed this because at the time I was on a very powerful and addictive drug. Fortunately I did not continue the use of this drug. Orion's belt still pops out when I look into the starry sky.

i understand that one author suggests/claims that the 3 pyramids in giza are positioned the same angle as 3 stars in orion. i hope i got that right as its years since i read it.
i've met a few people over the years who have strange feelings about their previous existences. one very unusual woman with great healing powers told a friend of mine in australia that he was from orion. i have a mild interest in it but dont think i am from there although my earliest memories as a toddler were "travelling between the stars" "BEFORE".
what it all means i have no idea.

As far as the job went i got a rather painful slap on the wrist and a stiff warning not to get behind again but i did keep my job thankfully. Though it was very hard to concentrate with every thing she said to me still ringing in my ears.

Also you are correctt the Giza pyramids being linked to Orions belt, though who built them is up for debate depending on whom you ask

Wow I thought I was the only one. Orion is usually the first constellation I see when I look up into the sky, and I always feel a certain frequency or "vibe" coming from that area of the sky.

It's like I'm trying to remember something, but can't quite put my finger on it. That's what happens to me.

though i cant say i haveever felt a frequency or vibe before directly coming from Orion, i can say that i have always felt comforted by looking at it, almost like looking at a picture of a loved one while on a long journey. I find it odd yet soothing to know that im not the only one with these odd feelings.

just to add a bit more to my story, the guy who did my tattoo actualy told me that he had designed this tattoo for himself but gave it to me because of my explanation of what Orion meant to me.

Hey, you guys wanna start a Sons of Orion Club? Maybe we can get some more info on why these stars seem to talk to us. I can start a website.

but the thing is, I don't really even understand any of it myself. We should try and find some more information on Orion. Maybe our ATS idren can help us out?

Please, nobody tell me I'm a alien reptilian. If I am, I want superpowers dammit. I doubt we could find any real evidence on why this group of stars draws at us. It is nice, however, to have some theories.

When i was a little kid i though the Orion's belt were the 3 magical kings. I always have been happy to a least know how to recognize one constellation in the sky: Orion. Although I think i am able to do that because is very easy to do it.

About research on past lifes this thread is the one to look for, is a little long but very worth reading. The OP is a specialist in this subject and I think she would be very happy to answer your questions.


Did you saw the 10,000 BC movie? a girl ended having a 'mark' on her hand that was an exact reproduction of the orion constellation. Its not a very good movie, but its very, very interesting if you see it for its symbolic meaning.

On a personal, more 'fantastic' (maybe sillier) opinion, i always liked to think that the beauty spots on my left arm resembled two orion belts crossing %)

if by crossing you mean make a cross like shape, then you might have more to think about then you know. I was talking to a guy who was telling me that the stars that make up Orions belt have a mirror image but 90 degs off behind them, and behind those stars there is another set of 3 stars 90 degs off from them. i dont know if that is factual but he said from what he has seen and heard that it goes on that way for a great distance.

just thought i would share that with you. like i said i havent seen it just something i heard from a guy while at school back in the day.

It would seem that our souls never really age...
...more like aggregate collective life experience.
Souls have experienced varied forms, in different planets and dimensions.
It would seem that your soul has experience within Orion constellation.

The grouping of stars is definately one of the first to capture my gaze,
while looking at the stars in the sky...and the frequent moving lights.
This is not percieved as being due to feeling affinity with the star system,
and rather its prominence in the night sky.

To address you current concerns...

Maybe this is why I was sent to the old Hopi man. I have never met anybody like him. Thanks for the Hopi info. I got the excitment tingles all over my head right now. I feel like driving the 500 miles and trying to find the old man's hole in the ground. There is something very spiritual about all of this.
