All of the squawk about A51/Groom being a dead location is wrong. It's more active than ever. Big new hangars, earth berms hiding the entrance to the hangar from prying eyes...

My advice to you: First, forget all about going to Area 51. Next, drink heavily. You better listen to me, cuz I'm pre-med.

Bad idea! If you were going to do it, it would be best to do a solo mission,
go in as a lost wildlife photographer. Carrying a weapon will give you a death sentence for sure, even if you were taken alive you would get a heavy dose of water boarding.

The post about special ops is the plan. Approach from the south. You can get close to the southern border via Alamo Rd.

Edwards uses X band radar to establish a perimeter around south base. It is very common/old technology. I would suspect Groom uses a similar system, but only close to the actual base. I think you could very close on foot, but you would never get on base, so it is kind of pointless.

The base pulled the PIR at Roadblock canyon soon after they put up that snooping town with the PTZ.

Regarding flash light "tracking", they do this at night. I don't think the dudes have NV. I took an old military IR filter used with vehicle headlights and fitted it to a spot light. It makes a significant IR beam. I beamed it at the dudes and they didn't seem to care, it would be blinding with NV.

I think you would have a better chance of putting together a remote vehicle maybe made up to look like an animal. Expensive yes but doable. Put cameras in place of the eyes, microphones the whole works. Come up with power options like solar since it is a high desert and some way to maintain control over it for a long ways and maybe that would have a chance but going in armed in a vehicle...at best arrested but most likely especially if armed and taking shots at people you would be dead and even with the fastest car you would be trapped like a rat, remember it is in the middle of no where for a reason. A cell phone configuration would be the best bet, global range, a multiple choice of controls, live return video and audio. See link below for details.

Good thinking! Make sure they can't trace it back to you. An autonomous vehicle would be best, don't any pesky radio transmissions going in or out for the MIB to pick up. The robo-critter would have to meet you at a rendevous point for pick-up. Why doesn't someone put a bug in some TV shows ear, so they could foot the bill.

Well my whole argument here is "Should we as a public allow decisions and projects to be undertaken without our knowledge" In my opinion "no".

Therefore, find 500,000 like minded people and do a protest march towards area 51 with film crews, press media....the works. Unarmed of course.

You should protest against a government that makes choices, sends its people to war, spends YOUR TAX on secret projects designed to kill and maim people, or spy on people...generally spread more fear without your say so.

I think that would pretty much help start the process. No one could deny a 500,000 strong protest march.

I think 3 people, a rally car and guns....would not be my No 1 Choice. Unless you have Michael Cane with you shouting "YOU'RE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BLOW THE BLOODY DOORS OFF!"

Except of course you would not even get 500 people, or 50 people and you would be hard pushed to get even 5 people for your march - and do you know how far from the border to the base it actually is?

Dude, you must be absolutely out of your mind. I understand your desire to get into Area 51 and take a look around, but as far as I know, anyone who tries what you're thinking of trying is either mentally impaired, looking for a way to get dead really quickly, or simply terribly misinformed.

I'd forget about it if I were you. As was mentioned by Tifozi, putting your plans up on this site was your first mistake. No offense, but if you're making that kind of simple mistake on a highly-sensitive terrorist operation (because that's what it is), you're obviously not the man for the job. Why don't we just leave Area 51 be - It's pointless.

An ex-military person I know, who was assigned to an elite military group that tested secure facilities, told me that they had infilitrated every secure facility in the USA WITH THE EXCEPTION of Area 51. Even this group did not know how they were detected, nor were they told. Even though they were this group, they were blindfolded, held, interogated, and released at a location outside the area. They had no clues about where they were held.

By the way, they did not get very far into the gold facility at Ft Knox either and were told never to try again.

area 51?You cant get within 5 miles of the place without tripping a motion sensor/being spotted. Dulce? you would be nuts to attack that place with a fully armed platoon, let alone by yourself.

BTB the only viable way to get in is hold somebody important (like a guard) hostage to get in... also very nonadvisible though as they could fill your skull with lead from 50 directions at once and likly dont care who dies...

3.) the desired crew, an experienced rally trained driver, who is experienced on driving on most terrains, is very cool under pressure, and has great manouvers if needed to out smart certainly cammo guys or the sheriff; there is are two more possibly three guys who have great athletic backgrounds running abilitys for each man range from times of high 10sec 100m, all the way up to about high 4mins or very low 5mins for a mile. have various different fight training backgrounds, there is one pottential ex-sas man, who is specialised in krav-maga and takwando. the other 2 guys have various high quality back grounds ranging from kung-fu to boxing. i'm not sure if the hand to hand combat will come into use or not for such a mission?, all have including driver; vast experience in handling firearms, once again ranging from sniping to close quarter with a pistol if need be., i can hang with the guys in these areas if need be. YOUR DRIVER WILL BE ON UNFAMILLIAR TERRAIN. YOUR ONLY WAY TO AVOID AERIAL RECON IS CAMOFLAUGE, AIRPORTS OR TUNNELS. UNFORTUNATELY YOUR DEALING WITH THERMAL AND MOTION AS WELL. YOU AREN'T GOING TO OUTRUN A JEEP OR A CHOPPER. I'M AN EXPERT MARKSMAN AND HAVE MORE HAND TO HAND COMBAT XP THAN MOST. I CAN'T CATCH BULLETS IN MY TEETH THOUGH. WILDCAT MOUNTAIN IN NEW HAMPSHIRE. NOT SURE IF THATS FAR ENUFF AWAY FOR YOU TO SURVIVE THOUGH.

5.) possible vehicle choice and desired speed?, we have thought about a choice of 2 at the moment either we have two modified porsche cayenne, they are tuned by techart and have the ability of 200mph, with a weight of 2.5 tonnes, our mods should bring the weight up to possibly 3.5 tonnes but were hoping a bit less 3.2 or 3.3 tonnes, that includes armour and bullet proof windows, and special high performance low profile, run flat tyres. also heavy duty charge rammer, sort of like a battering ram to smash through fencing or walls. DOESN'T HELP IN A MINEFIELD OR ROCKETFIRE FROM BLACKHAWKS.

6.) the best road for straightness, for maximum speed once we get past the signs to take us to the fence, then we hope to smash through? YOUR INTENTION IS TO JUST BUST THROUGH THE GATE OF ONE OF THE MOST SECURE MILITARY INSTALLATIONS IN THE WORLD?

7.) tempreatures at 11.a.m onwards in the months between july to september; also tempreatures of a night midnight to 3 a.m. LOW TO MID NINETEYS AT NIGHT LOW TO MID 70S.

8.) regarding security, best of a night or daytime?, or does it matter?, of a night we dont have to use headlghts and use infra-red technology? GOD I HOPE THIS IS A JOKE, I'LL PROBABLY WIND UP IN PRISON FOR RESPONDING TO YOU. IT'S A MAJOR SECRET MILITARY BASE. THE ONLY TIME YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE A LULL IS SHIFT CHANGE. BUT YOU STILL HAVE THE AUTOMATED SYSTEMS.

I think, if you showed up with 3 friends and some AK's - you'd either;

1. Be shot

2. Arrested

3. Taken into captivity and had probings done on your collective anuses

4. Arrested then shot

5. Arrested, probed, shot.

6. Arrested/fined/blacklisted/constantly watched/harassed

Numbers 3 and 5 are a bit of fun, but the others are genuine thoughts of mine. What makes you think you would be able to get anywhere near that place? Dogs run faster than humans and im sure they would have some kind of patrol unit(S) around all fences .
