I found out what they are trying to do.. at least i think what they are trying to do. and like obo or oboe however you spell it and there is this one that is like a girl but half her face is a doll kinda face and she has a button eye. (oboe is a guy)

I'm not gonna lie, that doesn't sound all that much like a demon. Since they are both girls and things are being moved but no one is being harmed, it may just be a poltergeist produced by the girls with the amplification of the negative ley line. Or even more likely a shadow person if it has a name. Look into who lived in the area before them and any peculiar deaths. Shadow people can be nice, mean or neutral but never underestimate them, especially not the red eyed kind. From my own experiences the red-eyed ones tend to be the spiritual left overs of rather nasty people. They have been known to try and suffocate or paralyze people when they sleep.

I don't know about others but I abhor ouija boards, you can't be sure who is on the other side. I used one with my friends in the woods when I was twelve on halloween and have been bothered by 'things' ever since. -_-

Hey there Reveler and welcome to ATS.

You may not have noticed that this is quite an old thread ... the case actually occurred in 2010 but thanks for the input anyway.

If you go to my previous post in this thread (directly above your own first post) and click on the link provided it will take you to the second part of the case and you will see how it was eventually concluded.

And I totally agree with the things you said about ouija boards ... most people that 'dabble' don't have a clue about what they are doing and leave themselves open to all kinds of 'nasties'

I too have a possible demonic nightly visitor (at least my priest thinks so). However, if it is "just" a cat ghost of my old cat who lived with us 16 years and she died months ago. My question is how to I get rid of it. It bothers my sleep each night and I DO want to (No question) get rid of it. I prey nightly, use blessed salt, blessed water, talk to it telling it to go to to the light, burn sage, have crosses, open the bible to Psalm 91, tell it to leave in the name of Jesus etc. We have had the new (actually 3years that we built)house blessed. That consistantly hyper cat appears nightly and stays 95% in my bed - rising out of the bed when I lay on the bed. If I go to another bed it finds me. Religious attempts may slow it down but not much. Other than letting me get only 3 hours sleep each night, it has not threatened me. I do not want a pet ghost cat!! I get stressed out and little sleep.

Hey there wiscfour ... 'ghost cats' are very common (I've experienced several myself in fact) but if the apparition is causing you stress and you're sure you want it to leave there are several things you might try ... the secret (in my experience) is to keep things simple.

However, a related (other option) question for me (and others may find interested) is this: This cat ghost spends 95% of the time in my bed in my room. Can I stop it from leaving that room via using blessed salt, blessed water, a Holy Cross, bible or specific scripture, or virgin olive oil used at the two windows and the one door? If so what specific procedural advice can you provide? This is just a second idea I have and entirely different from the first plan. Limiting "this non god spirit/ghost/energy" to one room would also be a partial victory and give me some rest and control.

I wouldn't mess with demonic forces. I never have and I have never had a demonic encounter. Coincidence?

I believe demonic forces are entirely psychic and/or psychological. It's sort of a thing that can't affect you unless you give it an opportunity too.

Regarding Woody, I still hope she will answer my ? to her. Is it possible to limit a cat ghost to one room by using salt olive oil, blessed water or any other way? I assume this might work with some other spirits as well. If I can use this on my cat ghost what specific advice does she have for me to succeed?

As for your post consider this. You mentioned it is psychological. I have been a psychologist for 37 years and did not believe this stuff. I talked to many to claim to hear and see things - mostly due to mental illness. A few ghosts were reported. Now it has happened to me and happens every night - without fail. I have shown pictures to my wife and she (Now agrees) it is our cat as does a representative (priest) of the bishop and another priest. I could have lined people up to hear it snore but my wife was too afraid. Of course there have been other indicators as this occurs nightly as sometimes during the day.

You might not be so ethnocentric to think that "you are right about everything in this existance and make blank statements for others (as though they know not). Weigh your words carefully as you respond to others. I say this - as you may one day be humbled like me. One possibility, there are levels of existance and only the Holy Spirit should have access to all of them Our awareness is quite limited.

Hey there I see you are a relatively new member here so maybe you haven't seen any of my other threads ... but no matter you are free to your own opinion and have clearly made your mind-up on this subject in general and my thread in particular ... that's fine.

My only advise to you would be not to waste any more of your time with this or the follow-up thread to this case ... and just follow your own path of belief.

In that thread you will see how me and my team learned the lesson of the 'trickster' the hard way ... it certainly was a learning curve that I took much from ... and it would be true to say that the experience took a lot from us too ... but we learned some very valuable lessons should we ever find ourselves in a similar situation at any point in the future.

Hello Woodwytch, I am Azmolial amongst many things, I am a Daemonolator. I looked around my books, the net, and this forum thread. And found not reference to the name you said. The closest was a grasshopper demon guy and Jezebel. Neither of which seemed too relevent. I think you might be right with the, not being a full blown demon, thing. I don't know the goings on of that house hold but there could be plenty of things that it could be looking for an energy snack, especially if it is on a negative Layline. So a good cleansing should do the trick, and some things to make sure nothing else comes to fill the void later.

I would like to be on a paranormal team. Sounds like fun. Good hunting!
