Given the obvious strong feeling coming out in this thread, I would suggest, rather strongly, that you all, and that means ALL of you, leave the personal commentary about fellow members out of it.

If you can't discuss the issue with a modicum of civility don't post.

Read the post before you post it.

To reiterate...

The Personal Commentary Stops Now.

My observations:

  1. the link in the OP contained an image of children much younger than alleged victims of the alleged atrocity. This apparently being a lame attempt at propaganda, anyone with half a brain should treat the rest of the material with a huge grain of salt.
  2. in that image, one of the soldiers (you can't see faces of) is dressed a bit strangely -- the uniform doesn't fit, and there are sneakers on his feet. While it's possible that US spec-ops like to wear Nike on combat missions, I find it highly specious, and assume that the person holding the kid is in fact a local
  3. regardless of the above, there is simply not enough evidence to conclude either way

Do atrocities happen? Absolutely! Is it easy to find a group of Americans willing to tie up 12 year olds and execute them? Hell no. Intuition calls bovine dejecta on the OP.

Well, if anyone here recalls Pat Tillman , it goes to show that the military isn't completely squeaky clean so to speak and how much BS we are fed.

So if Tillman was murdered and not killed in friendly fire what had he seen and was subsequently silenced/prevented from disclosing ?

I feel that Pat Tillman as was this hit on the Afghan household of people regardless of their age was done to prevent something they'd seen from being disclosed.

Remember:

Dead Men Tell No Lies

The Truth Shall Set You Free

nh_ee, Thanks for posting that...

I was thinking that exact thing and was tempted to post it earlier....If I recall Pat Tillman was going to blow the whistle on the 'sham' war....I think he found out that it was all about protecting the poppy fields.....

Maybe this latest group of executed people saw something they weren't supposed to...

As usual on threads like this we're getting the people saying what do you know about such things, it's so easy to criticise from your computer bla bla bla.

Oh well please forgive me, i haven't recently visited a foreign country and slaughtered some children. If you have then feel free to enlighten us with your knowledge.

One bit of evidence would go a long way to support such claims otherwise it's no better than listening to Old hags gossip.

Gossip much?

Yea I was over there. Did children die? Yes. Were they ever targeted? No. Did the event make us sick? Yes. Our generation of veterans will not let you psychologically abuse us because you dont agree with the reprocussions of flying commercial airliners into our trade towers killing thousands. The initial post that started all of this nonsense is a HOAX. Before you start saying some of the most hurtful things you can say to the men and women in uniform, and the veterans... at least have some proof. I swear we will not have another hate the veterans era that came to be from the vietnam war.

This story is a Hoax, are you so blind you cannot see that?

Lucky for us Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have their own counter-terrorism means that have helped us to keep another terrorist attack on American soil from happening. Afgan and Iraq ... not so much

Calculate the cost of being in Afghanistan dollars and lives.
Calculate how much it would have cost to wax OBL (assassinate)
You know, give the Mossad a couple more H bombs and let them figure it out.
No CIA no FBI no freakin coalition forces at all required.
And you know what's worse we ain't got him!

BUT oh! We got freakin days on end of the PREZ and diaper boy.
(all we get for tax dollars is more corruption and WAY fewer rights)
BA
Bring our people home.

Have we had another attack on American soil?

You say Saudi and Pakistan were largely responsible. So why isnt anything else comming out of those two places? Why haven't we had another attack? Oh maybe the same people that did 9-11 killed those children to make it look like Americans did it. Or maybe that story was completely fabricated as there are no pictures of anything, or video, or ... literally anything.

What did you have to say about the subject this thread deals with?

Okay, I'm one for being against atrocities. However, please do not post propoganda like this garbage.

A couple points to look at when figuring out whether a picture of soldiers on duty in a foreign war are legit or not.

a) our soldiers do not wear tennis shoes while doing raids.
b) if the picture doesn't show the faces of the soldiers then I will always question its legitimacy.

Yes, seeing young kids scared out of their minds sucks. But it isn't American soldiers holding them. Period.

I was using sarcasm. This is a tactic of the Taliban. To target schools and children. Particularly girls, but boys attending with girls is sufficient too.

The people of Afghanistan are caucasian - Pashtuns are often white skinned, light eyed, light haired.

I though my sarcasm was evident. It obviously wasn't.

Not Afghanistan. You mean, other than be the center of the main government behind it. Being the mythical center of Islamic power? Being run by the Taliban.

You realize that this group, running itself with cooperation out of Afghanistan took numerous hostage planes prior to this event.

The people in Afghanistan started leaving their big cities because they KNEW their government was involved and they were expecting to get bombed by the US.

Inhumane? It's very human(e). Think about the atrocities that are committed daily by humans onto other humans, you will began to realize just how human(e) it is.
