Anak Krakatau?

This is a beautiful picture of Anak Krakatau i found on a 'Fragile Earth' Thread about 8 months ago. The thread contained a few more pictures done by a professional photographer, but for the life of me, i can't find it.

Thread in Breaking, following a press conferance a Volcanoligist has noticed

A vulcanologist has warned that the Marsili volcano -- Europe's largest undersea volcano -- could disintegrate and unleash a tsunami that would engulf southern Italy "at any time".

"Our latest research shows that the volcano is not structurally solid, its walls are fragile, the magma chamber is of sizeable dimensions," he said. "All that tells us that the volcano is active and could begin erupting at any time."

It has not erupted since recorded history.... interesting

The Thread: Undersea Volcano Threatens Southern Italy

You beat me to it. I was just about to post this here as I think it may be quite important.

Seems that not many people know much about this volcano.

Read this

Wow. Marsili volcano is scary, thats all we need, for that to go!

I had a friend named Bill Marsili, I smiled at the volcano name. Bill died some years back of Mesothelioma.

Well there is an inference the the picture is the Italian one, but it is the Pacific one - did not know about that one either. This Italian one is very interesting.

Iceland seems to have increased in one area that was just smoking before. They have trained the Vodafone camera on it.

Wow, that is really realistic and so much better than the 'water' effect in Paint.NET - which is good, but not 'sea like' as that is.

I did get it downloaded. Just need to play now.

Yes, I emailed them on Sunday and told them what the problem was. Lo and behold on Monday it was fixed.
