What is SEXY to you?

My boyfriend and I recently got into a debate about what is sexy.
I prefer to dress to the nines in fancy clothes usually something tight, slinky and black.
My hair is done and I'm totally in make up.
He tells me I look sexier if I wear my yoga pants and put my hair in a pony tail.
But then again , he says it's not the clothes that are sexy ..but me..
Some men go for the physical attributes, some men go for the personality as apparently confidence is a turn on.
What turns you guys on more?
A women in lace lingerie, or walking around in your old white button down shirt???

I'd love to hear what all the guys think, and what the women think as well, even what is sexy in men.
To me..I just feel sexy when I'm dressed up..it MAKES me confident.
For my ideal guy..I'm not attracted to muscle bound types really. Which society would have you believe the opposite.

I like the natural look... much prefer it to loads of make up and crazy short skirts and stuff.

I definitely think personality is as sexy as physical appearance, you could have the hottest girl but if she's as thick as **** and loves herself more than anything else.... then what's the point?

I love to dress up as well, I love heels and close-fitting dresses with some funky jewellry n stuff
But I did go thro a phase of living in jeans and casual stuff.

I agree 100% with you, that dressing up and looking sexy certainly gives your confidence a MASSIVE boost !!!

Though, this may sound stupid, but I find a woman dressed up, far sexier than just naked, god I can't believe I writ that down! I hope you know what I mean

But yeah, a good sense of humour and I find intelligent women a massive turn, I never understood the old saying of men being threatened by women more intelligent than them? I would welcome it!

Confidence is sexy. Intelligence. Heart and Humor. that goes for man or woman.

Personally, I feel sexy when I'm feeling good. That can be dressed "to the nines" or camping in the dirt... it all depends on my inner self. Feeling "good" means happy, healthy, balanced. Doesn't always happen, but I try to be aware of it and aim for it.

I know that's probably not as in-depth as you were looking for AD, I'll add more later.

To be honest I don't know if I could pin point an exact set of physical attributes that I find sexy . What I mean by that is some Women look great with curves and others look great with an athletic body . Sure it helps if they have a great personality . One New Zealand sportswomen who I shall not name ruins things for me when she opens her mouth . Its not that she is dumb its just that her persona is so unfriendly .

Hrm, age old question right here. Kind of hard to say for me as I have had relationships with all manner of women. From some plus poundage to a bit on the skinny side. We all want that mixture of beauty and personality, but I'll be damned if it's not a rare thing. So cut and dry what I really look for, butt and legs physically. Personality wise, got to be able to keep up with my quite bizarre sense of humor, while also being able to keep up in a decent conversation as well.

What is sexy to me?

A smile, original style, and a sense of humor.

I like a guy with a big heart and a bigger....... smile.....So teeth are important! I also like my guy to have a naughty streak with a dry sense of humour,, oh,,, and he HAS to like Stargate Universe, thats my deal breaker...... Other than that, just an honest to goodness man who can put up with my girly crap...

For myself; I spend most of my working day dressed up with heels, a nice skirt blouse etc or suit, so I spend most of my down time in my chavvy tracksuits, P.J's and my homer simpson slippers.. However when I go out; its depends where im going, but a night with the girls; I wear as little as possible lol... Sometimes I like to be a bit naughty myself!!

How about honesty, doesn't play games, is not manipulative, or takes advantage of people.

But then there is the girl you take home for the night and the girl you take home for life.

Some seem to prefer being the girl you take home for the night.

I like class, with a tad of sophistication on top of that - Me- .LOL! Get it? Knudge, knudge. Class helps a lot though seriously you know. It goes a long way for me. A few curves never hurt either. Heh.

Everything according to the beholder.

I have an admitted weakness for trashy, otherwise defined as slutty. Even some of the things you described as sexy. At the same time, confidence and talent is sexy. When Bonnie Raitt plays the guitar and sings, that's sexy.

If we're suitably smitten, cardboard is sexy: it can be the filling instead of the wrapper, as your boyfriend states.

My wife, otoh, tolerates trashy well but where my idea of sexy is see through this and that, she feels sexy is a long silk .. ummm... gown-like thing. I believe that illustrates the major male/female cliche of what is sexy. Guys want porn star, women want 50's glamor.

All bets are off if it's cold, as it is here. Sexy disappears and flannel is the standard.

For me, It usually a pair of blue jeans over a tight but. The Size of the woman can very, but not too big though. I do draw a line.

As for personally, well that has always been tricky for me. I usually go after shy girls but I also want somebody who loves bicycling just as I do.

Shy girls huh??? Good luck with that! Cos most of the girls i go mountain biking with arent shy lol... I love montain biking... There are plenty of trails and dunes where i live.. Covered with snow at the mo, but will deffo be putting my bike on the back of my car as soon as a trail opens soon... man up... you will get what you want....

Well for starters i dont think there is a sexier look than a woman in just a dress shirt, or just a hockey jersey, thats a winner.
Me personaly depending on what stage of the social interaction im at i find different things sexy, obviously when i first meet a woman the first cues i pick up on is her own comfort in her skin, more so than knock you down attractive, a woman who apporaches you fully confident and comfortable with herself will always come across more sexy than the pretty girl with the self-esteem issues.
When im on a date with a woman, i find class to be very sexy, manners and general grace, a beautiful woman who does not act above anyone is a woman full of grace and that is sexy. The reason why is because when a beatiful woman or any woman sees themselves as anyother person they have the ability to meet and engage a room, make a room not be the ornament in it.
When it comes to Barry White time the sexiest thing is a woman who can have a chuckel in the sack, not because i have anything chuckle worthy, but if the woman your seeing is comfortable enough to joke around in the sack she'll tell you what she likes, and you can tell her what you like. Sure candles and romance are great but sometimes you just wanna be naked and having alot of fun with someone else whose naked. If its not fun no one would wanna do it.
Pretty much the one constant is confidence, as much as women find it attractive in men im sure men find it just as attractive in women. Albeit some have not developed far enough along to express it further than "i like boobs" still im pretty sure confidence is the key to being sexy.

A woman who's mastered the art of: 1)The Innocence/Naughtiness juggle; 2) Seduction through non-verbal language.

Seduction seems a natural ability for women.....well not from what I've seen. They're intuitive enough to read it but not all really, really good at using it to their advantage.

And physically.....a beautiful voice is sexy as hell. Not just a good singer, but the ability to be powerful and sexily soft. Sounds corny but I think it would be sexy to be sung to sleep, especially sense I'm usually on the delivering end of that deed.

I agree! In a man nothing is sexier than a man that is smart and funny and clean!!! A man that cleans up after himself and cooks is sexy as hell to me!! I also like a good smile and eyes
