i remember seeing on the news, that "Brian Johnson" of the band "AC/DC" had died of drowning via vomit, in his car, like an old muscle car like a mustang or something, in fact i remember the car going for auction. A hugh "in memory of" was held at donnington park, england, a silence was held and scheduled bands played covers during their sets, it was very emotional.

another oddity that still baffles me, "harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2" was released last year and the DVD was released way before it hit the cinemas, my wife and i have had many a row over this, but i described the DVD cover and wam bam i was right, it now baffles her too, since shes a hugh HP fan.

anyone else had this?

I'm not saying that I completely disagree with you about timeline and alternate universes. But could it be that the news have got it wrong? They do get things wrong from time to time, I mean I remember when Jeff Goldblum had 'died' and the news actually announced his death, he even had a obituary written for him, then it turned it out to be a hoax. Could it be that these were hoaxes and the announcements that they were hoaxes were missed by you?
Also, the things that have happened to people personally could perhaps be instances of vivid dreams, I've had instances where I've dreamed something has happened incredibly vividly that I've argued endlessly with people that it's happened until I was proven wrong. Like I said I'm not disagreeing, I'm just pointing out things that could be rational explanations, you know the other side of the coin...

If you read through the posts then you would see that a lot of people remember the same people dying. Was this a vivid dream that many people all experienced at the same time? Also, when someone's death is announced and they aren't really dead, there is a retraction. There is proof of it somewhere. Old news stories, something... But a lot of the ones listed on this thread have no results, other than ATS, regarding false death rumors.

Yes. I watched the movie Doogal before the trailer even came out for it. I can't remember if it was VHS or DVD but I know that we watched it at home. When I saw a trailer for it almost a year later, I was really confused.

The vivid dream was aimed at the personal experiences of people if you read what I wrote, like the man with the DIY store. I never said you all had the same dream. I personally keep thinking an English actor called David Jason has died, he hasn't but I'm sure I've heard he has, and I think it's purely because he's as old as he is and so I assume he has passed away or it may be that another actor, John Thaw passed away, they both played detectives on different TV programs and for some reason unknown to me, my brain links them up in my head and muddles them up, even though there isn't even a physical resemblance between the two.

This is a little off topic but the other day I was watching an old Gun Smoke episode because I was bored and there was nothing much on and this episode I had seen at least half a dozen times. Well it was the same as it has been but the last 5 minutes of totally different. I was like totally confused. I still am confused about it.

Sometimes I get these weird feelings (like deja vu) that I was in the same situation, except the facts play out differently. Like for example, I will be in a store and distinctly remember that an orange is supposed to fall onto the ground, except in my current reality, the orange does not fall. Really weird.

Anyway, I am thinking that maybe there is a link between these events and dreams. Perhaps I previously had a dream about the orange falling, but then in reality for some reason it does not happen. I think there is some link between these dreams and an alternate timeline. On rare occasions, I will remember dreams that are extremely realistic and involve simple everyday events. Recently I had a dream that my husband had broken a glass of mine that I like. So I am thinking that sometime in the future, I will be in the same situation, except the glass will not break.

So perhaps people are having very vivid dreams of this stuff happening, and perhaps in an alternate timeline it has happened.

Follow up question for posters: has anyone ever contacted the news channels to confirm that they ran stories about the celebs deaths?
