I've dug out the data on the Whale Island Swarm and posted that along with an interactive map on my Ruaumoko blog. I'll update it as it goes along.

Swarm 2010 KMZ for Google Earth

Also something that may be of interest is the aftershock spread of the 1987 Edgecumbe/Thornton quake, which encroached into the Whale Island area. I recall reading somewhere that the overseas media reported Whale Island was erupting, which was false of course. Theres a KMZ file on there for GE to compare to the current 2010 swarm.

Hey Muzzy, I love ya - you have got it all down - I myself can appreciate that!! - BUT - while we do like to educated the folks here, you are going to levels that are above that the folks can understand - It would take much for someone here who comes to look for basic knowledge to understand - although, you explain in detail over many pages - your information would be best suited for a true scientific thread on quakes - maybe you should start one - or I could start one for you. I think it is way cool, but - for the folks here we may be getting out of the general quake watch information and getting into the quake measurements between agencies. :-) No offence please - I think it's all good!!

Yeah maybe I harp on about the inaccuracy of USGS/NEIC too much, its just that it riles me to see them jump the gun and get it wrong first or second try so often.

Twice in the last few years people have evacuated from the coast here in NZ based on incorrect NOAA Pacific Tsunami Warning Center warnings based on incorrect USGS initial magnitudes, it can be quite a PITA.

I wasn't one of the ones to evacuate but I did hang about for an hour or so waiting to see what was really going on before I left home to go to work and I lost income because of it.

I hate those early morning biggies out there in the Pacific.

Not much happening in NZ last 24hrs.
Only 2 x 3+ quakes.
REF, LAT, LONG, DATE/TIME UTC, DEPTH, MAG, LOCATION
3310436, -41.23817, 172.81825, 2010/5/21 4:17:14.7, 143, 3.627, N of Woodstock, Motueka River Valley, Nelson

Looks like the Whale Island Swarm is petered out, just one more
3310568, -37.84368, 176.95201, 2010/5/21 9:57:52.2, 6, 2.603, o/s NW of Whale Island, BOP

A new swarm started at Mt. Tihia, near Lake Rotoaira south of Lake Taupo, 9 micros. This area is possibly as historically active as Matata in the BOP.
Rather than post the data, thought I would try something different.

Rather than post the KMZ file heres a Google Maps version

Seeley, CA has taken over with swarms from Ocotillo, CA
Since the Easter quake, it seems the fault line has been busy there below the border. Should this be of concern seeing that only small quakes have occurred in that area not as active further up? It's as if there has been little release in that area and at some point that same fault has to release further up at sometime.
