Baja Cumulative 15th Apr

The magnitude may be decreasing but yesterday the number of quakes in the defined area was up. The figures are to midnight UTC yesterday. This is possibly because of the three 4.0 plus in the south of the area yesterday giving it a little rattle.

I don't normally WATCH the weather channel just get my weather and change it but I am finding they are covering the quakes, even the one in Utha, and the volcano data very well. Heck Al Roker was in Iceland this morning. The reason for those post tho is to tell everyone that starting Monday 6am EST The Weather Channel is doing a Three Part Report on Earthquakes, but get this, it's Called something like "Where will the next big quake be?" I found that interesting as they are basically putting out there that even they see a trend. Anywho, just wanted everyone to know in case they wish to watch it.

Sad when the real breaking news gets reported on The Weather Channel. they even did a report on the meteor in WI last night. MSM really said nothing about.

It is about time the weather channel does some news on the earth besides it's weather and running too many commercials

I have to laugh at those that are still saying that this increase in global activity in earthquakes and volcanic is "normal" In my short consistent monitoring of the USGS site.(the last 4 years) I am amazed at the non stop movement of California.. like the Baja. This must be a new standard of "normal"

I think its because there were 680 repsonses as " felt" to USGS, Geoscience Australia doesn't seem to have such an interactive web site as NZ or the US
